I'm in for this September challenge too. Here are my current stats:

    Start weight: 176 lbs
    Waist 37.75
    Hips 41.0
    Bra size 36.0
    Thigh Measurement 26.0
The above measurements are in inches.

I was on Tazzys challenge last month. She really is a motivator! :)
I plan to lose more than 5lbs hopefully. I am completely unsure of what to expect with the measurment loss, as i have never measured myself. It'll be interesting to see what happens there.

    You will be fine!!!

Doing great with the water, but not so good with the food. I had a memorial service yesterday & visited relatives afterwards. They served pasta & meatballs and lots of wine. I took a small portion of pasta, but I still overshot my calorie goal for the day. Today we were traveling, so that was difficult too. Holidays & travel are tough....
  • Doing okay last week however did not workout like I wanted. Current wt 187.2.

Can't stay under 1800mg sodium. I usually always stay under MFP's goal, and I am happy with that. C'est la vie.

Tracking sodium is instructive. My sodium was up over the weekend, due to traveling and eating out. As a result, my weight was up more than a pound yesterday. Then I resumed my regular diet yesterday, and after getting up about 4 times last night, the pound I gained disappeared. So I assume it was due to the excess sodium. Interesting....

Monday water intake was great 96oz due to the salty potato salad and barbecue I ate I was determine not to wake up with a swollen leg. Tuesday water wasn't so great 40oz I ran the streets shopping around for new tires not cheap tires but quality tires at a great price lot of work, no time for . I'm mad that I drove off and left my favorite water bottle at Sams Club to tired to go back and get it :( hope to do better today.

Just an observation, but it looks like you may be losing weight too fast. What is your daily calorie intake? In order to achieve permanent weight loss, without lots of wrinkles, you should aim for about one pound a week, at least that is what I have read. Any other thoughts on this?

Yes you are correct. people sometime don't have a clue as to how much sodium their are eating.

This has been so true for me. I've been struggling with time this month, and the fallbacks I tend to use to make sure I have low-cal, good protein choices have proven to be a sodium issue! I'm learning a lot!
  • Whew, the morning showed up quickly today. ^_^

    Starting Weight: 234.8
    Starting Measurements:
    Chest: 47 - honestly - this doesn't seem right - should be 45, probably just 'cause it's early. ;P
    Waist: 41
    Thigh: 27.5
    Hips: 50

    *wave*

I'm sorry I didn't post when I should have. Total mind blip. ;p

I was looking at this - I didn't change my starting weight when I copied someone else's example. My correct starting weight should have been 214. As of today I'm at 209. I am eating a lot of my calories back. In my (previous WW weightloss) experience my weight shifts quickly early on. I imagine it'll slow down soon.

I'll try to get my measurements done today and post those, as well.

    Hope everyone is well!
