    Well...we obviously all want to get in shape/stay in shape, but what changes would you like to make to your home??

    Mine:

    1. Freshen up paint
    2. New sinks & kitchen fixtures
    3. New kitchen cabinets :embarassed:
    4. Nicer landscaping

    oh....

    And win PowerBall so..

    5. Finish basement :bigsmile:

    When you win the Powerball, can you freshen up my house too....I'm not looking forward to painting again......ugh....seems like I just finished.

    All I ever see is a remodel. It never ends. This year I hope to knock out a wall in the kitchen and put in a back door, new window and possibly a 1/2 bath.

    Because I love you guys I will let you know a little secret about me... My family jokes about it even..... I am addicted to painting. Not finger or water but home painting. I have painted the living room 4 times in 5 years, and that is just one room. Each room of my house has seen layers since I bought it in 2002. Nothing makes me feel better about this old run down house then a fresh coat of paint.

    If I had money oh my... Where would I stop.. I have a whole page of my home remodeling. I haven't updated it in awhile - 2 paint coats ago..

    Basically none of the rooms look that same since the last web update. Think it's cheaper to paint then wash the kid messes off the walls, and gives me a reason to patch the wholes. I LOVE MY KIDS :love: :sad:

    I love the idea of fresh paint and newness often but I hate painting and we have super high ceilings.....so it's a pain!

    I don't know what's wrong with me. We raised our ceilings of our home build in 1920 with drop ceiling to nice 10' high and added ceiling fans; every time we did a room I got to paint and loved it and well to me it's not work. I tape off on Friday and buy supplies. Saturday I paint all day first coat in the morning and second before bed. Sunday we put the room back together. My DH use to help now he rolls his eyes and moves furniture only. Oh well it is my thing. Some people sew others oh I don't know read.. I paint. It normally cost me about $60 to do a room and cheapest way to give myself a fresh boost.

    When we moved into this house, it was COVERED in wallpaper. :indifferent: But noooooooo, not just one layer, but a base layer of wallpaper that was applied directly onto the drywall!!! :explode: :angry: It's been the biggest PIA to get off! :sad:

    My daughter's room was originally "clipper ship" wallpaper, but (she got to pick :ohwell: ) she now has two light pink & two light purple walls. :tongue:

    The next presidential canidate that runs on a anti-wallpaper ticket has my vote!! :laugh:
