*Baby Carrots and low fat ranch or hummus
*Roasted Broccoli
*This Green Giant Cinnamon sugar squash
*Olive oii versus butter on popcorn
I still love the bad foods, but these things make it much easier to deal with it.

How fantastic I feel when I:
drink enough water
watch my sodium intake
eat whole/fresh foods
watch my sugar intake
lift weights / do yoga / do pilates
How good "real" food tastes, once I got the bad habits out of my system...

Those little sugar free packets I add to my water.0

As annoying as it is at times - having my husband not able to leave my butt alone when I get up and walk around the house!
But, you are talking about food - I guess I have been clinging to fruits for their sweetness! cherries, apples, oranges, peaches, and bananas have become part of my daily diet!0 -
french toast using only the egg white
my homemade strawberry preserves
coffee with only 1 creamer and 1 sugar instead of triple triple
the fact that i almost never get a pimple, or heart burn anymore!
oh, i forgot, asperagus! LOVE it0 -
The taste of real food. I love anything I cook from scratch. I'm getting excited about making broad bean style humus tomorrow (is that silly?)0

Salad, specifically lettuce, i just never even bothered with this before when I had it as a side along w/ some main course, now it's a big part of my main meal and tastes even better w/ some nice dressing eg. salad cream (low fat obv!)
I even found myself tucking into a bunch of grapes tonight, 3 months ago it would've been some form of 1200+ calorie takeaway0 -
I've always loved fresh fruit and veg, but my love affair with fresh food is intensifying.
Smaller amounts of low fat dairy. Less greasy everything.
Also, I have discovered a local bakery that make the best bread for lunchtime toasties!0 -
skinny cow ice cream!0
-
Greek yogurt and mango sprinkled with wheat germ
oatmeal pancakes with peanut butter and banana or apple
fruit and/or heart of palm tossed into a green salad
tabouli salad
my elliptical trainer and knowing that if I want a glass of wine I better get on it for at least 10 minutes
laughing cow cheeses
eating a ton and still losing (seriously - my diary is public, take a peek! I very rarely go over on my calories and have been eating all day long!)
I could go on0 -
skinny cow ice cream!
And candies! I never had a sweet tooth until I started dieting:noway:0 -

I heart your response. I agree!0 -
I don't really have a list of foods, because I haven't really changed what I eat. I just watch portion sizes and my overall calories. I do adore wearing smaller pants and climbing mountains without getting out of breath. :-)0

2. Jillian Michaels!0 -
Nothing that I "learned" to love.. But I discovered (and love) goji berries, chia seeds, cacao beans and lots of super foods and raw stuff through changing my lifestyle.0

-Cottage cheese
-Fiber One cereal
-Wheat bread
-Skinny Cow ice cream bars
-Oatmeal0 -
Steel cut oats for breakfast. I used to get really bored with oatmeal or oat bran but I could eat these for dessert.0
-
Milk! Gonna grow up big and strong0
-
Wheat products! I can hardly stomach white flour tortillas anymore.
I LOVE All Bran cereal. I know, its disgusting. But there's just something about it... keeps me full forever!0 -
green bell peppers!!0

Fresh or frozen vegetables, I can't even look at canned vegetables without feeling disgusted at the thought of their mushiness. Whole grain breads, white bread feels like cotton in my mouth now. Also learning that a sub from subway tastes just as good without cheese and mayo.0
-
Kalamata Olives
Water aerobics
Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar
Banana Peppers in a jar
My neck! Wow there it is!0
