    oh and my daughter made my late-dad bumpa instead of grandpa...that stuck and still there to this day and she's 10.

    One that i really think is cute and that is Abuelita (grandma in spanish) and Lita (pronounced LEE-TA) for short.

    Congrats!! and nice kids that they'd give you a choice!!! I told my parents that when I have kids they will be called "Slagathor" and "Pasghetti"

    I too am 43 (well next week I will be) and my grandkids all call me "Gram-bo" . It started because my oldest step grandson saw me shooting a rifle and shot gun. He did n't know that I was a crack shot skeet shooter and was impressed that I hit all my targets dead on asn he said "Gram you are like Rambo or somethin' " The name just morphed from there.
