    50 lunges on each leg complete - my thighs are screaming at me and I am sweating like crazy. Didn't know I could burn so many calories just doing lunges.

    Did an extra 50 lunges last night and got 60 crunches in already! My legs still feel like jello!

    Beth's Angels Toning Group: Today's mission is 50 crunches. My whole bottom half of my body is aching horrible - it hurts to stand/sit. I will push through the pain though. Check-in when completed. I hope I can get my legs to stop hurting by the time Monday rolls around for squats. Have a great day, everyone! The weekend is within reach - yeah. :smile:

    my 50 crunches are complete, and I did 25 reverse crunches for my lower abs - OUCH!!!!

    I did my crunches at 12:15 am...right before I went to bed. I even threw in 10 extra! I have started doing 30 squats every time I go to the bathroom. I'm glad no one has come into the ladies room at work and saw me doing this. My legs are like jello but the burn means its good right? :)

    Beth's Angels Toning Group: Today's mission is 50 push-ups. You can do this anyway you can to make it through (real push-ups, girlie push-ups, or whatever). Also, you can break them up into groups if needed - which is what I will probably be doing (also with girlie push-ups). I can only do about 5 real ones. Check in when completed!!!

    If it's not too late to join...

    I'm a 19 year old college student within 10 pounds of my first goal...a healthy weight range.

    I've stalled on my loss for some reason and figured now would be a great time to add some toning in, because I'm tired of bat-wings and muffins. I eat relatively healthy, and I'm down to my last 20 pounds (for now...)

    Even if its too late to join, I'll be squeezing these into my schedule as much as possible!

    50 push-ups completed ( 5 real ones and 45 girlie ones). Now, my arms will match the rest of my body (achy). Ouch!!!

    I'd like to join. My name is Heather. I am a 27 year old single mom to a 6 year old diva...LOL...I have lost a total of 11lbs so far. Still have several to go though. If I can't do sit ups can i do 100 crunches instead?

    Beth's Angels Toning Group: We are starting week 2 of missions. We are doing 50 squats today. My legs are finally not sore, and I can walk normal again (for now - I am sure it will be a different story tomorrow). Check in when completed. Have a great Monday, everyone.

    Calisthenics (pushups, sit-ups), vigorous effort - usually like 10 mins.

    Is that under cardio or strength.

    My 50 squats are done - my legs were finally not sore anyone, but I think it will be a whole different story tomorrow (again). They will even be worse after the lunges on Wed.

    I love the accountability here. If I didn't have this, I probably would skip the exercises. But knowing that we are checking in really helps. My legs don't feel so much like jello anymore :smooched:

    It keeps me accountable too otherwise I would skip them too. Nice job.

    Have you tried the cheating sit-ups that Jillian has showed us (In Ripped in 30)? I can't do a regular sit-up either unless someone is on my feet. So, you put your arms out in front for stability - it really does help. You still get the benefit of a sit-up in your abs.

    Beth's Angels Toning Group: Today's missions is 50 lunges. You can do it one of two ways: either 50 total (25 on each leg) or 50 on each leg (totaling 100). I will leave it up to you. How is everyone doing from the missions? I can tell you I am feeling great - no more sorness. Are you seeing a diffference? I think I am in my abs - the tape measure has moved a little. If it was not for this group, I would have most likely just said to hell with it and went to bed! So thanks for being an awesome group and keeping us accountable!:)
