Hau hau, Tribeswomen of wannaweigh'wa!!!
Just got home from class and I was HUNGRY but lazy (boys didn't save me any supper) so I just ate a cold can of "very young small sweet peas"! About 200 calories and I'm full.
Thank you guys so much for all the encouraging words!!!
hoping Vince can breathe better tonight so I can get some sleep!!!
Sweet dreams all!!

300 more crunches done today..woohoo! Only 300 left and Ive met my own challenge!
The sodium intake is kickin my butt. I gotta do something about that:grumble:
Remember last week when Gary challenged us to burn 1000 calories in one day(or was it at one time?) Anyway, I am gonna try to do that Friday or Saturday. Anyone else feel like trying to do it with me? Honestly these little mini challenges have really helped me to stay motivated and not sit around and be bummed about my upcoming surgery. AND it really helps when I know someone else is doing it too:bigsmile: So who's with me??

Hi Ladies!
I hope you will all forgive me I did not do any exercise AND i'm over on my calories for today.
Today was very crazy. I did fine with my eating until dinner time. My kids and I went to get my boyfriend from work and since he got is first paycheck in 5 months we went to Applebee's to celebrate. I got the Asiago Pepper steak (310 calories for the entire meal), but killed it with the appetizer of 2 pork wonton tacos. I wish I had looked up the calories for them BEFORE I consumed them. I did have the chocolate mousse desert shot and it was the perfect amount of sweet. I had every intention of coming home and exercising and then I remembered....I still had work to do. i have just completed my work and am going to go crawl into bed.
I have my work cut out for me over the next few days (including a meal out again on Saturday with my mom and Drew's dad). I am going to kick some calorie butt and see what I can accomplish. I am amazed at how sluggish I feel not exercising after eating what I did tonight. Tomorrow is another day!0 -
Dont worry about being over for calories. You can always switch it out for Sunday's calorie intake if you stay under calories that day.0

Absolutely! I already have Sunday pegged as a makeup day. If i can get my 4 mile walk in on Saturday morning, I won't have to worry so much about my calories. Since I'm going out for lunch, that allows me to have a lighter dinner. We are going to a seafood restaurant (fresh seafood). i already know I'm getting the broiled haddock, baked potato and veggies. it shouldn't be too bad0 -
Sounds like a GREAT plan, Ingrid. So happy to see that you have things figured out already
Sodium. I swear it is made by the devil. I crave it more than anything sweet. It stinks. I dont know if anyone else suffers from this issue but I have a question for all of you:
Are you getting in your 64 oz. of water a day? Please remember this does not include teas, coffee, soda or juices. When it says water it means WATER:drinker: If you are having issues with your sodium intake, it really does help if you add another glass or two to your water intake for the day. I have not read any bad articles about too much water but please be careful if you have kidney issues.0 -
Good Morning Tribeswomen of WannaWeigh'Wa!!!!
I am jumping in here for a couple minutes:bigsmile: between homework:frown: and my online class:ohwell: !! ARGH!!!
It is darned COLD here this morning... 50 degrees F and raining!!!:grumble:
I am keeping up with water, as I don't drink much else! :drinker: (occasionally milk, milk substitute or herbal tea)
This week has kicked my butt!!! Vince has been sick:sick: , looks like he's giving it to me:sick: , boys had appointments that cost BIG$$$ (glasses/contacts/replacement retainer):grumble: My brother and his family should be here late tonight:bigsmile: , gotta get the package for my mom together:flowerforyou: , and clean up the mess the boys made before they get here!
Good news is I have lost this week, and hopefully a bit more by Sunday! (I WILL be under 200 by the end of September, BY GOLLY!) <---- giving myself the stern face!
Sometime today I need to finish up my crunches! ARGH!!!!
Vince finally slept soundly last night, I may steal some of his NyQuil!
Sylvia is doing ok... the swelling is down now, but over the last week the tumors are slightly bigger. :frown: All the lovely food:bigsmile: she has been given to keep her weight up has given her HORRENDOUS GAS!!! She is on her second run of Prednisone now, and I am hoping (pipe dream?) she will live through the end of the year. I think we will know more when this course is done, and see how big the tumors are then. Boys are loving on her, but seem to understand that all the love makes her feel nice but will not make her better.
Well, that online class is calling my name!:ohwell:
Have a terrific Friday! Hau Hau!!!

Sonia, you seem to have a lot on your plate right now. Fingers crossed that you don't get sick. Awesome that you have found the time to do these challenge exercises.
Becca, I've been watching my sodium very closely. I have been drinking at least 64 oz. of water. I do use about 1/2 packet of crystal light for each 32 oz of water I drink. If I don't have crystal light, I can't seem to choke down the water....LOL
Time to kick out some of the challenge exercises that I didn't get to last night. I think I'm going to double up on Day B today (for yesterday and today) and do Day A tomorrow instead of today.0 -
Hau Hau!!!!!
I realized I completely forgot to complete my day yesterday. My calories were very low. I did not feel like eating last night. My lunch gave me some heartburn and made me feel blech.....plus this week caught up with me and I was exhausted.
I doubled up on the day B exercises and can finally FEEL that my muscles worked hard, I also got my heart rate up nicely doing the crunches. I find it very strange that my abs are not killing me the next day after the number of crunches I am doing. Maybe that means I've built up the strength in them?
Today I am going to focus on Day A since I did 2 day Bs yesterday. Headed off to walk with the pooch now!
I hope everyone has a fabulous day!0 -
ok, ladies. How many crunches did you do this week?
I managed to do 1001...just wanted to get over the 1000 mark.
Becca:bigsmile:0 -
Becca you are a ROCK STAR!!!!!!
I've done 450, I have 50 left to complete for the week. I may not get much over 500 but I'm proud of myself for accomplishing this.
This has been one heck of a week. Thank you all for your support!0 -
