    When it comes to beer

    Do you ever buy a 12 pack to try it, not like it, but drink it anyway? Because, ya know, it's beer?

    I do.

    I just bought Sam Adams' Octoberfest. I don't really like it. It's okay. And I normally ADORE me some Sam Adams.

    But I'm drinking it anyway.

    Because that's how I do.

      Octoberfest is gross. And chocolate stout - not good either. But yeah, I drank them anyways. :bigsmile:

      Yes, and one of these days I will remember I don't like miller, bud, coors, blue moon, sam adams, woodchuck, corona and stella before I check out at the register! Until then, I will continue to drink...

      But life is too short to drink bad beer or wine!

      I actually like Oktoberfest - send it to me. No dont! Thats a lot of calories.

      My personal fav are Three Philosophers and Duck Rabbit Milk Stout. I even brew my own milk stout because I can't find it here!
      Now I want a beer.

      I know right? Seems like a waste of trips to the store, when you can just get the 30 and call it good for the night.

      If I don't like it but it's not totally disgusting I might use it for cooking (barbeque/beer can chicken/casserole). Or save it up and take it to a party - there's always someone there who either likes it and/or doesn't care what they're drinking!

      I know, Carl. I found this out once when I went to a friend's for dinner, and they only had 12 beers for 3 people. I was confused as to what the other 2 people were going to drink.

      Get yourself some Coronal light. It has less calories than that apple juice that you've been drinking!

      If I've never had it, I try to catch it in a mixer case or only get six. That being said, I pretty much find a way to enjoy any beer I buy, even if that means making it in to a sauce or marinade.

      No. I never have this problem. I only drink Ultra. Oh wait...I did buy the flavored Ultra and decided I didn't like it. I have LOTS of family that like to visit for free beer :) Beer NEVER EVER EVER goes to waste here. Just to waist. Ugh. And butt and thighs and well...everywhere I don't want it. Like you know..on someone else!!! :)
