Just bought NZ size 6 jeans for the first time in my entire life I think 6 here is a US size 4?

They are preeeetttty tight though - I bought them because I managed to do them up (JUST), not because they were comfortable or anything! I'm probably technically more of an 8, but couldn't resist getting them

Thanks to vanity sizing this is a pointless thread. Every brand is sized differently and yes this problems applies to both men's and women's clothing

Why not just ask for measurements in inches or centimeters?

I'm 5'5 and weigh 157, I wear either a 6 or an 8.

5'5" and 157 pounds - size 12 but they're a little loose. Not quite a 10 yet.

I'm 5'5" and weigh 135 yet I wear anywhere from a misses 6 to a junior 11, depending on brand.

I'm 5'3.5" 186 lbs and I wear a 14 or 16 in jeans. Classic size 14 levis are snug, but wearable without a muffin top. 16s are roomy, but not yet too too big.

Kinda irritating that I see 5'6" and wearing size 14, LOL I just now got into a 16 and even it's not all the 16's in my closet. But I'll take my 16 and wear them proudly

I am 5'6". Started in a tight 18w @ 235 lbs 2 yrs ago. Currently at 164 lbs just barely fitting in size 10 jeans, 12's are mostly too loose 10's are a little too tight.

I will likely never be less than a 10. I've always had quite wide hips and a large booty-even when I was 120 pounds...so as much as I'd LOVE to see a single digit pant size, I doubt I ever will.
