To suck it in or not?

i don't suck my stomach in, but since i started exercising regularly (especially doing weights) i have found that i walk much taller with a better posture which has the sucking in effect anyway0

Yes! Doing so strengthens muscles that are kind of your natural corset and will make you look better in the long run as well as the short run. Plus it's part of good posture. I used to do ballet and now I ride horses all day and core strength and posture are important for both. So now I'm in the habit.0

Thanks for the replies everyone, very interesting, not surprisingly, diverse representation across the spectrum from those that suck in to those that hang out. Kind of what I suspected but very nice to confirm, good to learn of the benefits too although for those of us that can't, it's nice to know not everyone does.
Also glad to hear some of you sat up straight after reading :-D0
