I was the kid who was so shy, quiet, and timid that my teachers thought I had hearing problems/learning disabilities. Shows how much they know.

Me too! They wanted to keep me back through several grades, but my mom let them have her mind. She's a badass.

Also me. I was so "timid" that they wouldn't let me start kindergarten early even though I was smart enough. They said my social skills needed more developing. The way I see it- I never should have started school if it were based on my social skills...ha

I was another one of those. I was so shy I would hide under the table. They thought I was slow. Until I started getting straight-A's in grade school. My mom irritated me so much by showing off my report card that I started purposely putting wrong answers on the tests. Then I became the hippie stoner girl in junior high...lol....stereotypes suck.

My sister was the opposite- she would punch out boys in preschool if they messed with her and she would never shut.up. Weird how siblings can be so different.

I didn't go to preschool. My mommy was home.

My Mummy was home too, as am I, but I still went to pre-school, and my children have too. It's only 3 mornings a week, and it helps socialise them for when they start full time school.

Mine, too. She put me in the Y daycare while she exercised sometimes and then when I went to prekindergarten, parents volunteered in the classroom.

I was the shy little girl that barely talked. I cried every single day when my mom dropped me off for Kindergarten. Thankfully, I stopped that by the time I started 1st grade.

I don't remember Kindergarten that much - I do think I was a bit chatty, though, because when I went to First Grade at a Catholic School, the mean little nun smacked me with her pointing stick and made me stand in the hallway.

    I don't think I talked for 3 years ;)

I was a good student - always trying to please, always following the rules. I wanted my Mom to be proud of me, and as the fifth child in a family of 8 children, I had older sisters and brothers that were good students.......so I had to be one, too!

I have a pic of me in my profile when I was in about 3rd grade :)

I was the one who got put in the "thinking chair" in the hallway for talking during nap time, at least once a week.

pre-school? remember? damned if I remember yesterday!!

I do remember elementary school, punching a boy in the mouth because he liked me. He had to get 16 stitches, poor dude.

I was the kid that was all jacked up on Ritalin that was too high of a dose to let me sit down for two minutes. I was also the kid that was OBSESSED with reading and I had a skill where I could walk in lines, hang out at recess, and other places and read a book simultaneously. I was also excessively shy and absolutely avoided all forms of social life. My grades were topnotch. Things changed in middle school!

And I was the tallest kid in kindergarten...funny I only ended up being 5'3"!!

I was the one people always picked on. Chose last for everything and basically just ignored. I was also shy. I had to have special lessons due to dyslexia which just added to my problems.

Oh how I could not wait to leave school. I turned out ok though!

I was a perfectionist. I insisted every letter of my assignments in first grade had to look exactly like the teacher's. It took me much longer to get things done than the other kids.
  • I don't remember, as I got older I was the shy, quiet one that never smiled because, well kids can be really cruel sometimes.

I was the mouthy tomboy that thought all girls and girl things were stupid. I was always getting in trouble for being too loud. All I wanted was to play a little soccer or go build forts or something...I was screwed because the boys didn't want to play with a girl and I didn't want to play with the girls.

I was the kid that went into the school, after school was over and grabbed a large garbage bag and started stuffing it with all the cookies, stickers, and the class rabbit from the classroom and took them home!!! Sister Francella hated me. Yeap I was THAT kid.

I got suspended from PRE-SCHOOL. My parents love me, I promise!

I was the little girl (tomboy) that played the games all the boys played. Hated anything really girly. I'm not that little girl anymore...except for playing the games the boys play.

Me too...I even looked like a boy, the first one to get picked for sports at recess and the last one to get picked for the spelling bee :\
  • tomboy all the way. kicked *kitten* in P.E. and played sports with the boys during recess. one of the boys. I was like that until mid-highschool years, then I started wearing makeup and "girl clothes". but really, I still am a tomboy at heart....
