    For me it's about the hard wok it took to get the results in the photo. I had quite a laugh about the carrot top photo...anyways..i'll upload one of those 'look i'm so modelish photos' and use that as my profile photo for today.

    Hey now no need to be offensive lol,some times the format of the upload doesn't show whole pix but If you go to their profile you may see the whole pic,my profile is open,go see & tell me am I really that ugly? Be honest! Lol VERY funny topic though

    Without being rude in the gym, I often take my own photo and the iPhone I use blocks my face . LOL

    That's why I uploaded tons more photos, proudly showing my face. :)

    I took a photo just this morning that includes my face and I'm smiling. I should upload that one too. :)

    I WAS going to say - who needs to see faces when they have abs like Hosed but carrot top just destroyed that for me. Dang. Hes like a ripped dude shoulders down and a overly plastic woman up top. ew.

    As for the OP question...

    Maybe some are posting the abs they are working toward?

    The guys that are posting pics of their real abs - yeah - just an easier shot.

    Either way... I am not complaining either. I will step right up and admit that I look at a nice set of abs and guns the same way most guys check out a nice set of 'eyes'. :happy:

    I don't know about the other guys in there, but I always show my face with my abs, because that makes me prouder. Great topic though :-)

    I think if you look at most of the profile pics for MFPers they tend to lose more clothing as they progress, although apparently undies thursday is taboo...but sa people get more comfrotable with their appearance as the weight disappears they want yo uto see thei accomplishments, that theyve put in the hard work and here it is! Thats why we have so many before and after threads with pics...everyone should be proud of their accomplishments on here , they feel healthier and sexier...lets be real, sexy is all about self confidence and nothing brings more self confidence than getting the body you want..body isnt everything but its not a bad tool !

    Perhaps it is because once you get to a certain body weight your face fails. You fat in your cheeks disappear. :S
