Hello ladies! I am really tired right now but wanted to check in. Not such a good day today; was over on calories. It was worth it though. :blushing: Here's my check in:

    1) Exercise 5 days - check 5/7 so far
    2) walk 10 miles - 7/10 so far
    3) well calories are not so good today as I mentioned. Oh well - will be better tomorrow.
    4) 64oz of water -check

I know some of you have mentioned watching sodium. I think I may have to make that a goal next week. I've been really bad with this lately! :grumble:

I haven't gone back to read all the posts - try to do that tomorrow. I need to get myself to bed!

Quick & Late Friday Check In:
    1) Exercise 6 days--check! 5/7
    2) 10-12 cups water EVERYDAY--check 5/7
    3) Sodium under 2000 EVERYDAY--check 5/7!
    4) Take a walk or do some deep breathing exercises when I get that "I'm about to strangle punch maim stab someone" feeling. -eh, not so much; couldn't walk out on my staff development everytime I got angry because I wouldn't have lasted past the first five minutes. However, I did (my modified version of) Chalean Burn 2 today and the abs video before swimming, so I think that helped.
    5) DO NOT WEIGH IN ON ANY DAY OTHER THAN MONDAY. Nope, but I have a good reason I swear! When I made my goals this week, I forgot that I had an appointment with my dietician, so of course I had to weigh in for that. When I got home from the appointment I weighed in on my scale to compare it with the dr's office. Turns out my scale weighs just a tiny bit over 5 pounds heavier than dr's. Checked bf's scale and it weighs 3 pounds under. Bottom line is I've lost 16.6 pounds since July 7th! However, in the spirit of sticking to my goal, I'm not recording any weight until Monday, and I'm going to stick to my scale's readout rather than doing any weird recalculating. But overall YAY!

Way past time to go to bed. Happy Saturday everyone! Hang in there!

The week started out very well but Thursday and Friday I fell of the P90X wagon. Did not exercise, did not drink all of my water and did not go to bed early! Oh well today is another day and it has started out great. Did my Halloween 5K and have set myself a goal of completing a marathon by 2013!

Will try to get back to my P90x later on today and drink drink that water!

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    saturday check-in:

1- Follow Chalean's schedule - did lean intervals today. It took a lot to get up and do it, but I'm glad I did!

So, girls, I'm signing off until tuesday because I'm getting married on monday! We'll just have a small civil ceremony in Lyon, and it'll be just the two of us since our families are far away. I can't wait!

Philosohoe, spreading out your water does help. At least then you don’t wake up at all hours having to pee too. Good luck! BTW, I’m super proud of you doing the modified Chalean. Keep it up and before you know it, you’ll get strong enough to do the full version. You rock!

Hearts Desire, we all get to have over days. It’s how we maintain the overall lifestyle change. Besides, most of our over days still aren’t near our maintenance calories so we should be just fine.

Lttee, I’m just super tired. I do feel a bit better today, but I’ve done absolutely nothing. It was kind of nice. I’ll probably repeat everything but the super over calories part of my day tomorrow. And hey, great job on your goals! Those long conferences can definitely put a hamper on an already cramped day. I’m sure your body enjoyed you taking it easy for a change.

Mak, way to go on your goals. You will conquer this weekend. I’m sure of it. Stay strong and way to rock the exercise this week!

Papillion, congrats on finishing the midterms and OMG YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED AND JUST NOW ARE TELLING US!!!! CONGRATS! SO HAPPY FOR YOU!

Danlyn, great job on your goals! While you may not have time to comment on everyone, we’re definitely glad you’re here. Keep up the good work!

Littlemount, can you add other seasonings to make it taste better that aren’t full of sodium? I never add salt, but have found ways to make food much tastier by experimenting with seasonings. Great job on your goals this week! Oh, and Zumba toning is much harder than people think. I really want to try a class of it and have been trying to get the Zumba ripped DVD so I can do that once in a while for fun.

Bhurley1424, it’s okay to go over sometimes. As I told Hearts Desire above, it’s how we maintain the lifestyle change by being real and still giving ourselves permission to live. Good job on your exercise and water goals!

La_nanita, great job with the 5k. I am super impressed with your time. Oh, and your costume was great. I hope you had fun with it!

    My progress:
    1. Do something for myself every day.-had a cheat day and lounged because I was feeling blah. It seems to have worked.
    2. Have at least three fruits/veggies a day.-um, only if you count the basil, garlic, and tomatoes on my pizza or the sweet potato chips; otherwise, no.
    3. Do Chalean X as scheduled.-was supposed to do Zumba this morning, but was tired and feeling blah so I slept in. It was sorely needed.

    Great week everyone!

    2. Got a workout in
    3. Need to refocus here!
    4. Checking in to say goodnight All:smooched:

    Sat. Check-in

    1. Not good on the food/logging. Did good on the water though!
    2. Rest Day
    3. Yup...need to regain some focus here not lbs!
    4. I am checking in even though I wanted to run and hide.:blushing:   I committed to checking in daily on my goals list this week, despite how the day went, I feel good about it meeting the check in goal. The fact that I followed through makes me feel good despite not such great meal planning.

Our new week can't come fast enough for me:wink::laugh: only a few more hours...:smooched:

Hope you each met a goal or 3 that you wanted to more days than not. I'm going to work on that being woven into my goals, to meet them daily but have each day begin anew. Maybe that will take the pressure off when one day is less than stellar.

Love you guys, you so keep me here & I thank each of you for that motivation by you simply being here yourselves!! xo:flowerforyou:

HeartsDesire: I'm so glad you are on here with us! You've always have such a positive, if quiet, nature about you and the daily check ins are wonderful.

Papillon: grats on the marriage. Remember: if you start to fight, fight naked. I guarantee the fighting will end. (A coworker advised this and actually if she gets pissed off, her husband starts pulling off his clothes. She ends up laughing.) I can see this as being very sound advise.

littlemount: now I'm curious about the zumba toning. If only I had a gym membership. So cool

danlyn: good luck on the new living arrangements and how nice of you to help family in need. And you're right, those that don't succeed on every goal are still plugging away and still winning in a way.

    My check in:
Exercise 7 times, 3 chalean, 3 abs: swam twice
Calories, with protein being higher than fat: yeppers :) and am thinking of changing my % in goals to reflect it
3 fruits/veggies daily: day 4 in a row, thank goodness made it, wasn't feeling it today

Today I am super proud of myself. I was very irritated with my husband, and normally will emotionally eat. I didn't. Though I did consume more than normal, it was still within my comfort range.

Let's try and keep all the great support up. You guys make this thread AWESOME

I'm super tired so really quick check in

    1. 30DS - did both days. I even moved up to level 2. Eeeekkkkk!!! It is no joke.

    3. Bring lunch and snacks to work everyday - Thankfully no work today.
    4. No extra BLTS (bites, licks, tastes, sips) - :( EPIC FAIL... I'm talking like Star Wars epic. It wasn't pretty.
    5. Get my weekends under control - stayed in Friday night. Good with Saturday breakfast. And made smart choices lunch out Saturday. Dinner not so wise.

Checking in for Saturday a bit late. Not such a great day.

    1) no exercise but I already met my 5 day exercise
    2) didn't walk any so didn't meet my 10 miles :frown:
    3) was under calories barely
    4) did not drink enough water - was running around all day. :frown:

Papillion - Congrats on the marriage! Enjoy!
Mak01 - I was/am doing 30DS level 2 also - it is HARD! I hate those planks. I think I might put it on hold for now - I can't devote enough days to it right now.
