Way to go Leigh! Bringing us over the 100 mark.
100.01 + 4.51 = 104.52
7.26km in the rain trying to keep in zone 2. A boring solo run with moments of interest and good form.

104.52 + 6.22 = 110.74 miles
Only 24,790.81 miles to go!0 -
I have ran 31.44 miles since the last time I updated
31.44+ 110.74 = 142.180 -
I did another 6.1 since my last update so...
142.18 + 6.1 = 148.280 -
I ran 4.33 miles this morning
148.28 + 4.33 = 152.610 -
I've done 24.4 miles this week. (Do I get bonus miles because half were barefoot?)0
-
I did another 3.3 yesterday so...
152.62 + Jeffs 24.4 + 3.3 = 180.110 -
180.11 + 4.59 = 184.7
Friday - 7.4km steady run with some hills. Staying mostly in zone 2 but trying to bounce it up for the hills.
Run training has just started back up, it's sucking! lol.0 -
I did another 5.8 yesterday
184.7 + 5.8 = 190.50 -
Add 13.1 miles for me today....with shoes today. LOL
So um with Abby's count that puts us a 203.6 Miles.0 -
203.6 + 6.45 = 210.05
10.37km today in what was supposed to be a Long Slow Run at a casual pace but which turned out to have a bit more oomph than expected. 100m elevation gain over the first 6km or so and then lost it all in 2km.

I'm not sure you get bonus miles, but you get the knowledge that you didn't have to pay for the shoes we were all running in
You know, a bunch of my friends have switched to minimalist and even barefoot running. I just haven't gotten the bug yet.

210.5 + 6 = 216.50...
I did 6 today....0 -
7.9 miles this morning.
216.5 + 7.9 = 224.40 -
Another 3.2 miles this morning, to bring the total up to 227.6 miles.0
-
Ran 3.4 miles this evening... chased down with a cold beer.
Total 231 miles.0 -
231 + 5.5 = 236.5
5.5 miles on the treadmill in the gym.
Did a drill where I spent 45 seconds up on my toes simulating a sprint with higher knees and a full kick followed by 15 seconds regular running (mid sole strike), followed by a drop in speed and a 1 minute recovery run.
After 10x that bit I was getting tired, but I felt GREAT when I was up on my toes. I found it easier to run a bit faster that way than it was to run midsole strike.
Gonna have to practice that outdoors now sometime soon.

It is a nice idea good luck. I did 5 on the 9th and two at a fast walk yesterday (does that count) 236.5 +7=243.5
How are you going to keep this going? You will need to friend loads of people.0 -
I ran another 5.6 miles this morning to bring the total up to 249.1
@johnhowson, I don't expect to live long enough to be there at the finish line of this challenge. It doesn't matter.0
