You have to find a way to get all the hard to open jars (pickles, sauces, etc) opened on your own.

You have to kill any creepy crawly thing that manages to get under a door, window, or wall somewhere (spiders!!).

I actually miss my single, independent days. Nothing like coming home to a clean house every day, doing what I want, when I want to, every. time., and not having to worry about someone elses' *kitten*.

when you're sick there's no one to run to the pharmacy for you

the bed is cold in the winter and there's no one there to pre-warm it for you

no one to help you carry in the groceries

if something in the house is broken, you know it was your fault.

    This^

That is about all I can think of. I would gladly clean up after someone in exchange for not being lonely!

    PROS:
The house is as clean or as dirty as I want it to be.
I can watch any and all shows I want.
    Peace and quiet.
No one to answer to or worry about.
The sense of pride you get from "Oh, I live alone".
    Your money is your money.

    CONS:
No live-in support system (financial or emotional).
3rd, 5th and 7th wheel to many events.
    No bug killer!
    No repair guy!
    Lonely nights.
Dinner for one, almost every dinner.

Not all three. if you do its called a man, and you need to get your undercarriage redone for that.

Sometimes, I can spend the better part of an afternoon trying to get a jar open!

I hear ya! The decisions in my life only affected me, not anyone else...and I don't have to wait for someone to get their crap together so we can get on with our lives

YOu throw your back out moving yourself out of your apartment.

Honey, hire yourself some movers and watch boys do the work. That's the way I have done it for 3 years now and I will never move myself again.
