In some circles, I'm considered old. I'm 35. But yeah I've seen a lot of younger folks here. I'm glad though that they're taking the initiative now to be healthier vs waiting till their 30's....cuz omg its so much harder now.

I feel the same way when I read some of the comments. I think, "How old is this person"? Then realize they're much younger than I, and although 44 isn't "old", I have realized how much we mature as we age.

Age really is just a number. We are as old as we act and/or feel! I'm 42 and my eldest is 21 and the youngest 5. People are surprised when they see her or hear me talk about her. I still feel like I'm in my 20's!! :bigsmile:

I hope when I lose all my weight, it won't "age" me like I see it do to some others (i.e. my brother had surgery, lost like 80 lbs and looked about 20 years older!!)

I am 31 and feel a lot better about where I am in my life NOW than I ever did in my 20's. Frankly, I thought the 30's were going to kill me, but I have to look at it this way:

My son is in Kindergarten.
I have an amazing career
I am solid in my faith
I have a good car
I have friends that love me for who I really am
I finally know WHO I really am!

I'm thinking I prefer this age to that one. I'm glad that the younger crowd is taking responsibility for their health now, but I love where I am in life to not want to go back there.

I'm 57 and I'm pretty sure I'm old. I must be because my "baby" is 25! Seems only few years ago when I was 25. I can't wait unitl l reach 60 though. At my church 60 is a senior citizen and every week there is a new senior citizen of the week. The senior citizen of the week gets a candy bar and people send cards to them. Ok, the candy bar isn't healthy but once in a while for a special occasion is okay. :bigsmile: I can't wait to be senior citizen of the week. :bigsmile:

The definition of "old" changes every year for me, since I can't seem to stop aging and I am definitely not old! lol

Honestly, I never thought of anyone younger than my grandparents as old, and they're 87 and 95.

Being young doesn't necessarily equate immaturity. Neither does being old make you mature.
