Question: How big is *too* big....

I only started wearing yoga pants/spandex when I am under 135 lbs (5'3").
I will wear baggy PJ pants out to the grocery store, or to pick up take-out. Or even to eat out occasionally. haha. I-HOP is not dressy.
Anyway, wear whatever you want for a 5K! Your comfort is the most important thing.0 -
<---I bought those to wear in public (only not at work - my other job other than teaching aerobics, hehe). I think well built people should always wear yoga pants men and women any size.0

I'm wondering who makes the acceptable fashion rules. I know the OP wasn't wondering about wearing them to the office, but the people who say they shouldn't be worn in public...really, who says? I have a great *kitten* and LOVE wearing yoga pants....everywhere. I think even if my *kitten* wasn't awesome I'd wear them. They are the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. I also don't care if I see someone's dimply butt - whatever, it's not hurting my feelings.
You go girl - wear them proudly!0 -

^ THIS. My husband and I were in the car recently when a woman walked across the parking lot in front of us wearing yoga pants and a clingy top. She wasn't a Playboy centerfold type, but she was slim, curved in the right places and smooth as butter. Both of us just watched her all the way til she got in her car. I think I'm the one who initiated the comments, but we both agreed that she looked fantastic and that more people like her should wear spandex. It was a very nice view.0 -
i like women that wear yoga pants in public because i know i won't be flirting with them.0

Haha! With shorts and skirts I think the rule should be: IF IT IS WIDER THAN IT IS LONG....DON'T WEAR THEM!!!!
hmm this seems like a good standard....but for yoga pants not sure if that works lol....but id say go with your gut feeling or ask a friend for their honest opinion or post a pic on here and see what people tell you.... i find yoga pants better than say wearing leggings....0 -

I agree 101% ... best article of clothing ever made, and i rock it all the time lol never heard a single complaint only the opposite.,.. :P0 -
Okay maybe I am just crazy but I love wearing my VS yoga pants out in public. I mean if I am having a chill night with friends and we are hitting up the movies, or going shopping I'll pair my VS pants with a cute small shirt and wear it. My absolute favorite pair are my UK Wildcats pair. Of course I wear those every time game day rolls around!
FYI I'm 148 and 5'5.5" with an athletic build. I dunno if you can say there is one specific weight you can't wear them at, I think it depends on your body type.
YES! VS Yoga Pants!!! wearing them as we speak!0 -

Thanks for leaving them to me! I loooove a woman dressed comfortably. I honestly prefer it 1000x to lingerie. Yoga pants, a shirt hanging off the shoulder.. grooowlll.0 -

I agree. I wear mine where ever I want.
And I love you for that. My old perverted mind thinks women should be allowed to go topless and wear crotchless panties wherever they want to, but alas....0 -
Get yourself some running capris!! I would recommend either under armour or nike has a great dri fit pair!! Trust me they are worth the investment!! They smoth everything out and keep things from shakin when they are not suppose to!!
