    I like a lot of stuff by Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer. A favorite of mine from Danny's would be Edward Scissorhands. Brilliant score. From Hans, I liked Gladiator and Inception.

    Ah, memories! I used to play with a city band in my hometown, every Tuesday night during the summer we'd give free concerts, and we had "theme" nights. One night was always "movie soundtracks." We played everything from Superman to Beverly Hills Cop to Beauty & the Beast. Good times!

    My personal faves: Gladiator, Braveheart, Dances With Wolves, Rudy, Star Wars (original), Avatar, Slumdog Millionaire, the new Star Trek.

    Braveheart has my heart b/c i have a thing for bagpipes, but Danny and Hans always put me in a good mood.

    Hans is AWESOME to work out to and Danny is the BEST to write to.

    But Batman soundtrack wasn't favorite prince work, and I love Prince.

    Have to agree with all this. Have you ever heard of a bizarre movie from the early 80's called Forbidden Zone? Completely obscure movie, with the score by Danny Elfman, and that score is amazing.
