    Singles
    Pump Up the Volume

"Everybody Knows" is by Leonard Cohen (which I prefer) in the movie, but Concrete Blonde (which is also nice) on the soundtrack.

    Feel free to laugh.

My favorite all-time movie soundtrack is GREASE!! I have seen it probably 1,000 times and yes know all the songs by heart. My friends and I saw it several times a day everyday as kids and it just stuck. Honestly I couldn't tell you another musical since then*(does Purple Rain count?). But this one rocked!

Other soundtracks I love: Boomerang, Batman (1989) with Prince, Purple Rain.

I like a lot of stuff by Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer. A favorite of mine from Danny's would be Edward Scissorhands. Brilliant score. From Hans, I liked Gladiator and Inception.

We're talking about Original Scores right... ? Screw it, I'll be talking about it anyway.

i agree with all of this.

Braveheart has my heart b/c i have a thing for bagpipes, but Danny and Hans always put me in a good mood.

Hans is AWESOME to work out to and Danny is the BEST to write to.

YES! All of these! Also, Lord of the Rings, The Last of the Mohicans, and The Last Temptation of Christ (never actually seen the movie but I LOVE the soundtrack, composed by Peter Gabriel actually)

O and any of the movies from the matrix series.

If were talking about musicals, probably have listened to Nightmare Before Christmas the most. Danny Elfman is a talented man

In terms of scores, some of the best include the first Transporter [Stanley Clarke!], Last of the Mohicans [Randy Edelman], To Kill a Mockingbird [Elmer Bernstein], and Pyscho [Bernard Herrmann].

As for soundtracks with songs on them:
    Hard Day's Night
    Help
    Yellow Submarine
    Let It Be
    The Graduate
    Boogie Nights
    West Side Story
    Tommy
    Quadrophenia
    Easy Rider

    The list goes on...
