  • Hey angel, there was such a difference in the consensus of calories, I ended up wearing my pedometer (which shows calories burned) for a 30 minute session of Zumba and figuring it out for myself, then adding it for an exercise. Depending on your weight, you can burn anywhere from 400 - 800 calories and hour. I'm trying to remember, but I think I was burning about 400 but my DH was getting around 600. It's also going to depend on how intense you get with it. I have to take it at an easier pace than DH because of my shoulder. So if you have a pedometer, do it that way so you can figure it out for you.
