Jr glad everything went great. I guess the stomach bug is going around. I didn't hold anything down yesterday. I feel lots better today, but not eating yet. Hoping I'll be back to eating and working out tomorrow.0
-
Jr,calliope and sherrisloan I hope you all get to feeling 100% soon!!!!
To everyone else- You are all doing a great job on the workouts!!!! Keep it up!!!
I have been so crazy busy the last two days getting my sons birthday party together, cleaning and yard work. I got my workouts in on top of it all. Sadly just the 30day shred and I like to workout longer then the 25 minutes. But I am sure I got some crazy burn doing all that work. Today is my rest day (my sundays are my rest days usually).
MAKE it a GREAT day!!!!0 -
Well, I'm going to do something either incredibly stupid or very courageous! My hubs and I attend a Bible study at a friend's house across the highway. I just mapped it and it's 2.5 miles from house to house. Yes, I'm going to walk it. I'm going to leave an hour early and hopefully get there right on time. It's cool out today, unlike Thursday when I walked part of the way and had to call for a ride home. So, hopefully I'll make it and I know I'll feel incredibly proud of myself if I do. My hubs said to just call him if I feel I can't continue for whatever reason. Most of the way includes nice shady streets. I think I'll do fine.
On another note, several people at church today mentioned that I'm "looking good". Even my pastor commented. Love those NSV's!!
Hope you all have a great week and feel great!0 -
You can do it, Bonnie! I have faith in you. Keep us posted. :flowerforyou:0

Good morning and happy hump day fabulous friends!
I was curious as to what kind of workouts people are doing? I can't do the same thing every day (at least at this point in my life) or I get extremely board... so far I've gotten in 110 minutes of exercise doing things like calisthenics, scrubbing my bathroom, and helping to unload a few thousand pumpkins from a tractor trailer at my church on Sunday. The weather is getting cooler so I'm gonna start running my driveway again (it's on a huge hill that really kicks my butt) and I'd love to be able to run a 5k so I'm thinking about starting the C25K program.
Just looking for some new ideas
I hope you have an incredible day!

Ok, here's my recipe. It's for buffalo chicken pita pizza and it's sooooo yummy I love a good pizza. I'm sorry I don't have a pic of the pizza, next time I go to the store I will pick up some pita bread so that I can make one and take a picture of it if anyone would like a visual
Slice the pita so that it is just a single layer and put it on a stone or a metal baking sheet. Spray pita with olive oil, then sprinkle with any seasonings that you like (my favorites for pizza are garlic salt, crushed red pepper, and spicy Italian seasoning). Next spread the laughing cow cheese over the crust. Heat shredded chicken in a skillet and mix in the buffalo sauce, when hot put the buffalo chicken on the pizza. Drain and heat the black beans and add them to the pizza as well. Next cover with cheddar cheese (or any cheese of your choice) and bake in the oven at 400 degrees until cheese is melted and starting to brown. This smells absolutely amazing and totally satisfies my craving for pizza

One of my favourite ways to eat polenta!!
This only shows how to make 3 but when I made this it made 12.
Basically you sautee onions, mushrooms, spinach, eggplant and asparagus until they are soft. Then you add your pasta sauce. Let it all heat up and simmer it while the polenta cooks for about 20 mins on a lightly greased pan at 350.
Top the polenta with the sauce/mixture and put on a little amount of goat cheese.

You need to get a photobucket account and then upload your pic there. Take the IMG tag (located under the pic, it copies when you click on it) and then paste that link into your post. You'll need to change the IMG to img in both spots (beginning and end).0 -
finally feeling better! getting ready to go get some exercise in, and to eat healthier foods...i have learned that i can't subsist on carbs alone, even if they were the only things that my body liked for a while...0

Marie that is AWESOME! My husband bought me an apple mac air 11" for my birthday and today is the first chance I have to use it....mainly because I'm not working out and I need to do something that will keep me from going crazy. Cheers for the tips! This is my FIRST mac. I've used them before but never had one of my own - any tips feel free to pass 'em on  :bigsmile:0 -

Had a minor set back and didn't work out tonight. Popped another pain pill when I had been off them for a couple days. The incision areas swelled up a bit from I think getting aggravated a bit on the working out. Should be back and going tomorrow I think, I took tonight off. Great job on the recipes and working out guys!!
I'm still watching a lurking. Some of you have had some MASSIVE burns! Push yourself daily, you have 2 more days to meet this weeks exercise time goals!0 -

Sorry you are not fully 100% yet. Just touching base with you. I got in a 700+ calorie burn yesterday & going to workout again later this evening. Water is always over and I will get a recipe on here ASAP!
Hugs,
