Whats your NSV today?

I saw someone I hadn't seen for like 4 months and they said I looked like I had lost "a lot" of weight before I had even mentioned I was trying to. :-)
Plus, I dont have that nasty tummy roll when I sit down anymore! I just noticed it today! : )0 -
I haven't had painful swelling in my lower legs and ankles in a month! I used to have cankles (or fankles, depending on how you look at it). The pitting edema was so bad that I had to wear those ugly compression hose that are way too hot for summer. But now....no more! And I'm not swelling in my fingers, either! I used to have to take my wedding ring off before I went to bed because it would be so tight in the morning that I couldn't even move it. But now....no more!0

I put on a pair of pants today and they were a little loose. I thought putting on my belt would help. My belt was to big!0

I fought temptations today. stayed away from the junk foods and pop!0

One of the girls at work today noticed I've been losing weight! And commented on how good I look.
Another victory from a few days ago...one of the ladies at work said that I had inspired her and her husband to start walking, and trying to get into better shape!0 -
I rode 27km (16.5 miles) home from work in the pouring rain last night (it wasn't raining when I left the office!) and this morning two colleagues mentioned that they had passed me on the road but hadn't stopped to offer me a lift because they knew I would say no.
My commitment to exercise and weight loss is clearly evident to them!
PS And as I left the office wearing my cycling gear, another colleague commented that it was so much easier to see how well I looked in tighter clothing. Maybe it's time for another wardrobe clean out!0 -
I currently live with my parents, had to move back, money issues.... bleh
But today they said I looked thinner! I was like "what????" Cause I really didn't think there had been much physical change yet, but yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I have not dipped into the candy jar at my office for 13 days now!!!0

i just walked to lunch and a homeless man whistled at me and yelled, "lookin' good girrrrrrrrl." does this count? haha0

Today, I was able to get into a size L shirt and sweathshirt. I started at a 2x so I am pleased.
Yesterday, while at the club running I realized my ankle no longer hurt, and, I could run the majority of the way. I remember not being able to run more than 2-3 driveways..now, I'm running 2 laps around the track at the gym before walking.
Small victories do make all the difference:)0 -
Today, I ran a mile...as a warm-up! Then, I did 15 minutes of circuit training/weight lifting, followed by 35 minutes on the elliptical.
In middle school, a mile seemed to be soo long. Now, I can jog 4 miles (with some walking breaks)! Major NSV for me0 -
Today I forced myself to do the 30 Day Shred even though I REALLY didn't want to
I also avoided a yummy-looking Victoria sponge at work, but I am going to treat myself to a nice bottle of cider tonight!0 -
My work pants keep slipping down under my feet & I spent a lot of yesterday pulling them up. I'm off to work soon to do it all again! I'm in between sizes so I just need to lose a little bit more thigh before I can be comfortable in the next size down.0

Hubby is just making bacon and eggs for breakfast... I said no to bacon! Poached egg and a few baked beans for me! (NZ here)0

My NSV for today is that I had to make myself eat. It seems like I have gotten over the hump of having constant hunger that comes with makeing positive changes to one's diet. I started my diet on Sunday and have been fairly hungry while resisting the urge to binge. Today I did not feel hungry and had to remind myself to have lunch... YAY!!!0

I am wearing a pair of pants I haven't worn in a while. Prior to MFP I couldn't get them on. Last time I wore them they fit perfectly. Today, they are a little loose. HELL YEAH!!! :laugh:0

It's casual work day so I decided i was ready to wear my "BMS Bootcamp" shirt, which is very stretchy and shows all the curves. I thought this was a good way of letting people know where this new body was coming from and they noticed. I've never had so many comments about the weight I've lost and how good i'm looking.0

I got weighed and measured at Curves and I lost 6.75" and I returned 2 pair of pants I bought 4 weeks ago and never wore in a size 14 and exchanged them for a 12.0
