I'm trying to increase my protein. So far I love almonds and different nuts. What is your favorite source of protein?

I like lean meats, preferably things I have to chase after. The fear gets trapped inside the muscle (because of you know the fight or flight response) and I find it adds flavor.

    Meat! Lots of it! :D
  • Fish in general, mackerel in particular.
  • mine is a protein shake, It tastes nice, It gives me the right amounts. and its a easy quick way to get it. no messing about with checking the labels, The adding up the calories and the nutrients then working my other meals around it to stay in my limit.

Protein is protein, Whether it be from a shake or a chicken. Although most people will prefer to get it from food.

My favorites are the Yoplait 2x Protein Lime yougart and the EAS Low Carb Protein Shakes! Both are good for in between meals as a snack they really fill you up!
  • Greek yogurt, almonds (try the new blazin' buffalo wing) and mats like chicken and lean beef!

I like protein powder mixed with non fat yogurt and fruit... but I lift weights very often and am getting ready to enter a phase where I'll need about 300 grams of protein a day and that is really the only way to do it.

Icelandic skyr! ~14g of protein per serving, even creamier than Greek yogurt, and less sugar!

    Also, seafood/fish. And VENISON!!

I love fish. High protein content, very low fat, very low calorie. You can cook them lots of different ways (grilled, baked, pan seared, blackened, pan fried, etc.) and add tons of spices and veggies to shake it up. Great stuff.

I have a ton of great fish recipes if you would like some ideas. Just message me if you want them.
