need ideas for someone who cant walk/run

    I am sorry to hear about your pain Lonnie. Praying that you feel relief soon.

    In the meantime, I would recommend swimming. Before I dropped some of my weight, running was out of the question and walking was difficult on my surgically repaired knees as well, the pool was my best fitness friend! haha. Swim, swim, and swim some more!

    I have that plantar thing too. I went to Walmart and paid like $25 for a foot brace to wear at night. It keeps your foot flexed and REALLY relieves the pain. After about 3 weeks of constant wear at night I only have to wear it now when I have intense pain coming back.

    I second doing water exercises and the elliptical. Also, punches and upper body stuff is great.

    Try the foot brace. It is so worth the money.
