    I do about 1hr 30min daily mon-fri at the gym ,but Thursdays I kick it up to a few more hours since I'm already pumped from Zumba, plus I don't have my son Thrusdays so I milk it as much as I can to get in that cardio... I really didn't think 3hrs of cardio is excessive...
    Personally aside from a protein shake or bar before startinfg, I don't eat at the gym. I need the blood to flowing to muscles and not trying to digest food. But in 3 hours I'd get in a complete total body workout plus cardio. Do you know building muscle burns more fat than a bunch of cardio? It helps your bones too. And looks good.
