Vibro plate thingy

My Gym has one of these and I assume that it's nonsense, although i do see people squatting on it and look all serious. Can someone reassure me that I'm right to ignore it and hop on the treadmill.

I know what you're talking about, but I don't know the offical name for it. From what I've read, it works the same way as a bosu, creating instability while you're lifting. It's supposed to increase the burn and work muscles from multiple angles.
Give it a try and see how it goes.
It does seems silly, at least superfically, though. Reminds me of those vibrating machines women would tie around their bums because they thought it would get rid of cellulite.*LOL*
