The help my Husband gives me, not!

So, I have a cold, a bad cold, but I carry on doing the Mum thing, running around after three kids, one if which is sick too. Hubby comes home after being away with work for the week (did I mention I was doing all of the above by myself?), Anyway, hubs comes home, looks at me and says "You don't look too bad." moves into the child-free front room and proceeds to fall into a dead sleep on the sofa.
What do I do ladies? Respect the fact that he's been out earning money for the family, or Taser his bollocks??? I have to be honest, I'm leaning toward a 10 minute taser........
Any alternative suggestions gratefully received!

I agree with the taser idea.0

Tell the kids to go play in the room he's in and to maybe use him a human trampoline?0

Hattie is spot on!0

Taser him!
Id understand him not being as helpful if you werent sick, but when sick, he should be helping a bit more.0 -
i vote for the tasser his goolies! yay.....
But then he would just get his "manflu" thingy and that would be it for weeks so you would just end up even worse ...
can't you sorta send the kids in to him accidently of course :devil:0 -
I would have a conversation with him and ask for more help.0

 taser!0

My husband's not very helpful either and we argue a lot about it. He's a couch potato when he comes home from work. I work part time and take care of my 3 kids and he gets home just in time to say good night to them.....it's frustrating! Can I borrow the taser thingy?0
-
For sure Taser, if nothing else for the humor!0
-
Some Men soooo take advantage of certain situations! ARG! Hope u feel better soon!0

Taser LOL. Been there -- know how it feels. Men are such jerks sometimes (and before the men start complaining about women.. I know we can be a reach peach sometimes too).0
-
Taser him lol. He may work and bring home money but being a mom is hard work too.0

I would leave without telling him and check-in to a hotel for a couple hours to sleep.0

i hate when i am sick and i don't get downtime.
last year, hubby, the kids and i got sick at the same time. hubby stayed home from work and slept on the couch, while i took care of the kids and him even though i was sick too. our work is never done.0 -

Completely agree! The lack of help - especially when sick, is totally uncalled for. Play away, kids!
Or: What I would probably do is tell him, I'm sick and I'm exhausted. You have to watch the kids for 2 hours while I nap. And you need to unload the dishwasher if you want to eat tomorrow. Bye-bye.0 -
My vote is taser, and can I borrow it when you get done? lol0
-
Put the tazer in his hand then when he "accidentally" stuns himself he wont be able to let go or stop frying his lazy *kitten*.0

Patience, my dear. Make sure to breathe on him a lot, then when's he's sick as a dog next week (because you KNOW men always get a worse version of the virus than we had) ignore him.0

Have a talk.
Men sometimes don't get it. You may hear he is tired too.
Just talk to him.0 -
Tell the kids that daddy missed them a lot and want to play with them, then have conversation with your husband and tell him how you feel and why, and finally use the taser, just because.....0

It's not just men. I had been actually sabotaged in the past (by my ex). While the Taser sounds like a good option, your newly found health and hotness will be the best revenge.0

really?0 -
My husband goes to work early and tries to pull the same stuff. I work from home and have the kids all day so if it's been a rough day and I need out to go for a run or something I just leave him with the boys. They'll survive, sure the house is destroyed when I return, but sometimes you just need that time away.0

I need to know what bollocks are before I answer.0

If you only knew how bad a taser really hurts!
But it would serve its purpose!
It does hurt really really did i mention really .. bad!0 -
For those that dont know Bollocks=balls
That being said....rather than piss and moan to everyone, talk to him. Either that, or take the jar off the mantle and give him his mancard back because he's acting like a *****.0 -
I get that being a mom is hard work, I have two kids of my own. I also get that travelling for work is hard too, as I work and sometimes have to travel for a week at a time. Instead of getting upset with him, let him finish his nap and then tell him it's your turn to have a break. Yes, it was inconsiderate of him to just go to sleep, but there's no point in starting a fight over it.
Just to play devil's advocate here, I'm sure that if a man jokingly suggested tasering his wife, people would be cussing him out and talking about what a jerk he is. Just saying.0 -

I might love you. can't stand the "woe is me" stuff0 -
I travel for work and I can tell you first hand that it is exhausting. When you step off that plane the only thing you are thinking about is crawling into your own bed and getting some sleep. HOWEVER, that does not excuse a disregard for how you are feeling or your needs. Talk about it, and if he can't understand why you are feeling exhausted and upset then taser him!0
