    Thought i share with u guys recovery shake i made today and will be doing after every workout

    1/2 cup 100%orange juice
    1/2 water and about 4 ice cubes
    1 cup frozen fruits
    2 tbsp carnation powder milk
    2 tbsp wheat bran
    2 tbsp of protein powder
    Mix in blender so gooddddd i love it
  • Ok, so Im back from my trip, but I have another one Friday-Saturday. So the plan is to do some Turbo fire or Zumba for the rest of this week and start over from day 1 with Insanity next week!

    I'm now halfway into the 2nd week, and it's still not getting any easier. But everyday, I'm seeing little changes in my body, like my thighs getting shapelier, my arms toning up and my overall strength improving. Still groan at the sight of those Globe Jumps and Drills but I think I'll grow to appreciate them soon.

    A quick question: how do you log Cardio Recovery days? I log all my Insanity workouts under Circuit Training as I don't have a HRM, including the Cardio Recovery. Afraid that I maybe overestimating my calorie burn. Any better alternatives or suggestions?

    I haven't logged any of my workouts yet actually because I'm just following a sensible eating plan. But since CR is really light, I would think it's right up there with yoga. So i would use the totals for that. Q

    Just finished 2nd week of Insanity since tomorrow is my rest day! I'm gonna need it after today's Pure Cardio & Cardio abs which was 1st time through Cardio abs...WOW! I'm gonna be feelin' that one tomorrow! Awesome abs workout, the jumping exercises are brutal for me but loved the "c-sit" moves even though they are a killer! Saturday will do fit test so anxious to see if there are any improvements so far.

    Do we do Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs right after each other? I did and I had very little energy during the cardio abs jumps. Ugh. :(

    Globe Jumps 8-9
    Suicide Jumps 10-12
    Push-up Jacks 10-17
    Low Plank Oblique 34-44

    Are you guys doing other stuff besides insanity? I usually run with my dog or play Dance Central or do weights.

    Right now I'm just doing Insanity but I plan on adding some other workouts here and there for more toning. Q

    I just started my week 2 of insanity and can't wait for my first fit test!(other than day1) I already feel tighter in my core and endurance is up too! Loving it! Can always use extra support feel freeto friend!

    I thought it was just me sweating more each day lol.... Thanks for the tip on cardio and abs I will keep it in mind. My first time is Friday! I'm nervous!!! Waiting for my joint health supplements to get delivered and hope they help with the knee soreness... I find that doing cat stretch helps with my back ( since jumping works your back A LOT! ) Im feel like the ones he does in the video don't help me as much so I do a few cat stretches at the end...

    All in all I am in love with the program! Continue to dig deeper! And good luck on your journey!

    Oh my gosh me too! I was dripping sweat today..it kept getting in my eyes...lol but I love it.

    anyone taking recovery drink? if so waht u taking?

    I used AfterGlow from GNC when I did Insanity. Helped a TON! A little pricey, but worth it :)

    I put my favorite pair of jeans on today and they are loose around the waist! Yay! I did not want to do Insanity today but I did it anyways. Now I'm glad I didn't skip working out today.

    Good for you. This is our recovery week guys. But since Thanksgiving is this week, I'm doing some additional workouts so I won't gain. I pray you all are still digging!!! Q

    I just saw we only have 3 weeks left. I don't know what I'm going to do after I finish Insanity...I might have withdrawals...lol. Maybe the 30 day shred..I heard it's good for toning? What are you ladies doing after?
