I am new and have gotten to a point in my life that I want to lose weight and keep it off, not successful in that department. So here I am, hoping to get some input on how to stay on track, looking forward to help.

Hello, welcome to the site.
I am 50 years old and after 25 years of dieting have finally learned that dieting doesn't work. So I am on a healthy lifestyle journey. I am gradually learning how to change my lifestyle to be healthy - that is my main goal. The weight loss is secondary because I know that it will gradually come off and stay off with the healthy choices. I want this to be a lifestyle change to last for the rest of my life so I don't pay too much attention to the weight loss but more to different kinds of goals like: walking 4 miles, climbing 2 sets of stairs....etc. These kinds of goals show me that my health is improving better than a number on a scale. The number on the scale tends to frustrate me if I focus on it too much.
I hope you find your journey successful hear.0 -
