No matter how much weight I lose skinny jeans just will never be flattering for my figure. I have a...ample booty and thick, muscular thighs, short legs. I have one pair that I will wear only when I have a VERY long sweater that hits me mid-thigh to cover up. And I see many people with similar shape/build as me only wearing skinny jeans, and really, I wonder why they think it looks ok...it's not pretty!
I personally wish wide-leg would come back.

Well bring the wide leg back. Especially if you feel it looks best on you.
  • Hey dude, if you can rock a paper sack (or skinny jeans) then rock it. Skinny jeans are just like any other bit of clothing- everybody remember the grunge look? Or parachute pants?

And I'll be the first to admit there are some of us *raises hand very high* that skinny jeans just don't look good on.
For example, I sport a fabulous hourglass figure (er...it's under this chub someplace lol) and that just doesn't work with skinny jeans- boots or not!

I do love me some bootcut jeans however. ^_^

I like to wear skinny jeans with boots and a long tunic that goes over my butt. I would never wear them with a shorter shirt or with something other than boots.

Men always no matter what (IMHO) look retarded in skinny jeans...
