Just an FYI Regarding Your Period and Weight Gain

Options
I see this question come up quite often and thought I would help out. Maybe we can thumbtack this to help the people that join in the future.

I know it can be a frustrating time for women. PMS causes bloat which in turn causes your weight to fluctuate, which is why a scale should only be used as a guideline during weight loss. There are a ton of threads dedicated to just this topic. All I did was type in "Period" on the search and these are only a few from the first two pages that came up. So, there is plenty of reading to do.

Also, Google is an excellent tool for researching this type of thing. The first link listed is from WebMD and should be helpful to those with questions about your period, pms, weight gain, etc.

I hope this is helpful to those with questions about this. I also hope it helps to relieve your fears about any weight gain you might have around this time.

Good luck!!
