interesting thing I've noticed with everyones calorie counts

Every person whom I looked at is always under their calorie counts for that day. Granted, I havent looked at EVERY single person's diary but I find it amusing that no one has seemed to go over the magic number. Is everyone really doing that good or do some people fudge the numbers so that it looks like they are doing well?

I've gone over, quite a bit some days.
But generally I work within my calories and find no real issue with it.0 -
I've never gone over... I physically can't eat as much as this site tells me to! =/0
-
I go over pretty regularly, but I try to keep it no more than 200 over, which will slow me but not make me want to give up entirely. On days I don't work out, it's pretty easy to go over!0

What I notice most is the lack of fruits and vegetables.0

I've gone over about 40% of my days... 1200 calories doesn't leave much room for junk food and beer!0
-
I go over sometimes. But when I'm having a good day, I usually give myself a little cushion of 100-200 cals because I don't trust myself to not forget something or screw up a calculation.0

the think I lack the most is water. I just cant seem to drink the 64 oz unless I am at the gym and exercising hard.0

Trade ya... I drink probably twice what I should! I love water
You can have some of my calories please...0 -
I've been over quite often lately. But today I increased my calories, so if you go back and look, it will look like I've been under.0

If i eat or drink it goes in my diary. I just don't go over often but it does happen.0

I went over by quite a bit today because I had a home cooked meal and no way to know how many calories:ohwell:
But yeah, I go over a lot or come out dead even.0 -
I aim for somewhere between 100 over or under every day. My week usually averages to less than 50 under. I like to eat! I'm not wasting those calories!0

I go over but on days that I know I will eat/drink more I generally try to exercise more to earn the extras. My "red zone" days when I'm over are usually when I get home from work and my retired husband is bored and wants to go out to eat and I didn't have advance notice to plan. I don't poke around others' diaries much, although it does sometimes make make think twice when I find "merlot", and "bourbon" on my recent food list. :ohwell:0

skinnijen, thats just wrong to put a shot of you eating an ice cream cone as your profile pic. its like, nanana boo boo, look at what you cant do. hahaha0

I workout long enough everyday so that I burn enough calories that I don't have to worry about going over my calorie goal.0

I go over my calories 9 times out of 10... I have a bottomless pit, and eating 1200 net calories a day is just too little food for me, most days. I thought it was because my food wasn't nutrient dense, but this happens even on the days that I am eating more than a pound of fruits and veggies and plenty of protein.0
-
I'm scared to go over because I know I have to post it here. lol0
-
I tend to be under every day because I can never seem to eat back all of my exercise calories.0
-
If I see I am close to going over....I go do something to counteract the calories....you know.....more exercise.0

I go over on my cheat days sometimes.
I try to keep it within my calories even on my cheat days but I try not to drive myself crazy if I go over a bit.0 -
i lie all the time cause i need to be liked from everyone here.

I go over on occasion, especially if I've allowed myself a "splurge" meal. I don't ever "fudge" on my food diary...the only person I would be doing a disservice to is myself.0
-
i go over at least once a week0
-
you obviously missed my journal! -_- i did poorly today going over by 654 calories! but usually i try to stay under.. this is the first time in a while i have gone over...0
-
I will leave a few calories on the table if I'm having something I'm not "sure" on the calories with but the program does say you were under even if you were short by 1 calorie which i think has come up before, not that I could find the day now because my calorie goal is different now than it was.0

I go over quite a lot, somehow I managed to go over 1600 calories on tuesday    I am NOT going to let that happen again!0
-
I am over 273 today and was over by almost 1300 last week.0

No i don't think most people are lying about what they eat but I do think people stretch the truth about how much exercise they do. I almost never go over eating 1200 in a day and I do NOT eat back my workouts . If people are doing the wrong thing and not being honest it doesn't matter to me because there just lying to themselves I don't care if they lie to me. What upsets me is when people get upset that there not loosing weight then you check out what they have been eating and its strips any sympathy I had for them simply because they have not been working out and have been eating 2500 calories a day.0

I'm rarely over. I don't eat more than fifty percent of my exercise calories. I will start eating back all my exercise calories once I'm done shedding the last ten pounds of fat. I promise....until then I'm not starving and I feel great. I'm losing about a pound every week. Right now I'm down to 1100 calories a day, because I am not feeling well and sleeping all day (bmr is 1200 approx) Usually my net is around 1300. Its all in eating healthy, getting enough fat and enough protein. I'm not hungry.0

I go over once in awhile but not that often. I put in my dinner calories before I cook it to see where I ended up for the day. Sometimes I have to change what I was going to have for dinner several times to get under my calorie count. If I end up a couple of hundred over I exercise until I am under again.0
