What do you really think of girls with short hair?

    I cut all mine off in January. It was alright, but I didn't love it. Don't regret doing it. I like just where it is know, chin length. This is my husband's favorite length on me as well.

    I just got my hair cut short short a couple days ago and I am loving it so far, I have super thick hair so it feels so much lighter, it is also so much easier to take care of instead of each throwing it back in a headband, with very little effort it is styled for the day, plus I have a two year old so super quick to do. No regrets so far!!!

    love short hair, guts to wear it. Too difficult to find someone who can cut it right.

    Short and curly is a true challenge when finding the right person to cut it! I've been lucky to find an awesome gal. If she's moves out of state again, I'm going to hunt her down and... well I don't know... but we gals get serious out our locks!

    I literally JUST went short like 2 weeks ago and LOVE it! I've gotten a lot of compliments!

    I have short hair! (This is obviously a wig, LOL) and I love it!

    I always admire my fellow short hair ladies. It's like a club, I assume much like men with mustaches. :laugh:

    It has definately given me more confidence, no hair to hide behind. Also, I have always wanted to do it, and so when I actually finally did the chop, I was so proud of myself for doing something so bold and not caring about what anyone else thought.

    I love it!

    I have huge urges to go bald. Hair is too much fuss. It would be funny though because I seem to be the only girl I know who doesn't shave their arms. Aw well, if I hate it. Could always stick my arm hair on my head ;P

    It depends on your bone structure and face shape. I cannot carry it off, due to my round face. The shortest I think I can go is shoulder-length.

    I had long hair for over 30 years. My x-husband would not "allow" me to cut it (yah, yah.....that's why he's my X!)

    After I left him, I went for a chin-length bob, and got SO many compliments!!! People said I looked younger, prettier, all that nice stuff ! It's even shorter now - I like to flip it and play with it and try different styles.

    Oh, and long hair does NOT look that great on older women - most of us over 50 have issues with thinning hair, and long, thin, gray, straggly hair is HORRIFIC. Cutting it shorter gives more bounce and volume :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

    I really admire girls who can pull it off-- it's a pretty sexy look, in my opinion. I'd love to be able to rock one, but my face wouldn't suit it... Plus, I'm truly attached to my long hair hahaha...

    My hair all fell out a few years ago when i got sick. This is what it looked like when it finally began growing out. I loved it! I've cut it short MANY times... I like it short and i like it long. I get bored with hair, so i like to change it up!

    I have super thick, curly hair. Short isn't even an option for me unless I go WAY short or straighten/style it daily. Too much effort. Plus, the boyfriend LOVES my long 'sexy' hair.

    It was the best thing I've ever done. I shaved my head and stopped shaving everything else and just...it was very liberating. I'd love to buzz my hair again but I can't while I work in an office :-(
