    Tonight my personal goal is to workout to 10 mins to the BL cardio I will start with that. My husband might get mad if i do anymore than that. :tongue: I will start wtih that im hoping for a loss.

    Ya, you better take it easy! We miss you around here too much to let you go back to the hospital! We know how much you like the food and all, but REALLY!!

    I'm still having stomach issues so I took it easy today! Husband's orders!! LOL!! :laugh: Anyway, I did the treadmill for 35 minutes & burned a little over 200 calories. I also just started week 5 of my push ups.

    If I do leg lifts with leg weights on is that considered strength training - I usually just include it in my cardio.:drinker:

    So I didn't get in my 10 mins of cardio however I did this ab exercise i don't know what you call it. I lay on the floor at look at my husbands croch while i hold his ankles and he pushes my legs down while I pull them up. I did 30. :flowerforyou:

    It's bad enough that I haven't exercised in over a week. I've been snowed and iced in my house this week, still getting over a cold that I am hoping doesn't turn into a sinus infection, and when I finally make it back to work yesterday....

    I get laid off.

    I am so sorry to hear that. Times are the pits right now, I hope things brighten up for you soon.

    Hey guys!! I know things aren't going that well for lots of you. :ohwell: I feel your pain. I'm thankful for having you guys to come to when things get rough. And, I love reading everyone's updates!!

    I have to share something with you guys. Not sure if anyone has tried this or not, but I picked up a Leslie Sansone video at Wal-Mart ($10.76) and it is AMAZING. You can walk 1, 2, 3 or 4 miles. I did 1 yesterday with my HRM on and burned 207 calories and was pouring sweat by the end! Then I did the stretches and it was SO relaxing. She uses some yoga moves and they felt really good. And... you can do a mile in 15 minutes. :flowerforyou: My upper back is actually sore today from some of the toning moves.

    When it rains it pours, hey j_g? I was just telling my 11 yr old and I can't even explain to her about the Recession, cause I don't get it either! All I know is it's really sad for a lot of you and I hope things get better soon. Come on Obama!6.gif

    So I already ate breakfast with the family this morning - 210 calories. I did some wii fit this morning and now I am going to do some TurboJam!!! Buh bye calories.

    So I am going to the grocery store in a little bit to get some healthy snacks for myself. Any good ideas?

    I have lots to do today. My sons birthday is tomorrow so i will be making cupcakes for his class and then I have laundry and so much other stuff to do. Then tonight Im going to workout for 10 mins. I got promision from my husband. :bigsmile: I should wear my HRM to see how many calories im going to burn running around. Well Im going to check in later today. Everyone have a great sunday. :flowerforyou:

    Well team, I still have not gotten a chance to really exercise - I am still getting over this cold. :grumble: Though today the dog and I took a short walk across the street - it was in the mid 40s here today and it felt great! But all the snow & ice still hasn't melted.

    I applied for 10 jobs today so we'll see how that goes. I also now need to find some health insurance that doesn't cost an arm & a leg like Cobra does. :grumble:

    Hey guys!

    We're all moved into the apartment now, just a matter of getting things arranged and put away. Still some random things here and there that we need to bring, but the big stuff is in. Now I'm off to the grocery store to stock the fridge with some good, healthy foods! I'll be starting up P90x again in the morning and going at it full blast! I have a new coach keeping me and check (and threatening to come kick my butt if I don't stick to it :laugh: ) so I'm all in!

    I feel so lazy today for not working out however I did do a lot around the house which felt great. I was going up and down stairs a lot and I drank over 100 oz of water today. Tomorrow while the kids are at school im going ot work out and if not i will or i don't know what i will do but im going to do it. I have a new exercise plan that I'm going to start doing and only going to work out 5 days a week vs what I have been doing to try and get over my plateu(sp). Tomorrow is my sons birthday and we are going to applebees so I know i can eat healthy there and i will ensure i pick something before i go there and am starving.

    Good morning!! I was able to get an awesome workout in yesterday before the Superbowl!! YAHOO STEELERS!!! Anyway, I did Jillian's Cardio Kickboxing then a bit of treadmill for a total of 586 calories burned!! I felt great afterwards!! I'm looking forward to my workout today! I'm thinking 20 minutes with Bob on my BL Cardio Max & then back on the treadmill! Lots & lots of water to flush out all the buffalo chicken dip I had yesterday!!

    Just a few days before we weigh in again!! :drinker:

    As a little bit of motivation, I though I'd share....


    Our team, to date, has lost a total of 163lbs!

    That's 2.17% of our combined start weight.

    We've gone from 7510.6lbs to 7347.6!!!

    Well that is pretty awesome. I wish I was contributing more but just not losing that much. I have been really bad with the gym because of dealing with sick kids for a week and before that it was weather that kept me home for 5 days. Im ready for winter to be over.

    I just bought 48sq.ft. of those puzzle piece gym mats! Whoohoo, now that 2nd bedroom is really gonna look like a workout room! Only 50bucks shipped, from ebay too! That's like $1 per 1sq.ft. Not bad, eh? :drinker:

    Well I did the Wii fit for a while this morning and then did 30 day shred. I couldnt find my HRM strap so I couldnt see how many calories I burned but at least I exercised. My daughter is still running a fever but I gave her some Tylenol so now she is playing. I hate having sick kids. I was hoping to make it to the gym tomorrow but now not sure. Guess i will have to do another home day.

    So I did 15 minutes of My Fitness Coach and then started on some Turbo Jam and only got through 10 minutes of it. I have been feeling sick all morning. :sick: Hopefully if I feel better later I will be able to get another workout in.

    Congrats to you guys on your work out rooms!! They sound awesome!!

    I love to hear our team stats! What a great job!

    I was able to work out with Bob today for 25 mins (BL Cardio dvd) & then hit the treadmill for another 40 minutes to bring my total burned to 574 cals! I still have to do my push ups (week 5 day 2). It's really neat to see & feel myself getting stronger doing these push ups. At the end of last week I was able to do 40 push ups straight!! A bit shy of 100 but I'm not done with the program!! When I started I struggled to get 10 done! Pretty cool, huh?? ..... :blushing: sorry .. I got a bit excited.. :blushing:

    Today is my sons birthday today and we went to applebees. I ate from the weightwatchers menu and then had a little sunde. I haven't exercise yet this week i really want to but don't wnat to over do it. Tomorrow i promise at least 10 mins. I did weigh myself this morning and hope that tomorrow it will be the same. :bigsmile: Keep that drum roll because you guys are going to have to wait till tomorrow for me to say im keeping my mouth shut. I know that doesn't happen too often. :laugh:

    O by the way that ab exercise that I have been doing I thought of a name today and I'm going to start calling it the croch exercise. :laugh: Because I get to look at my husbands croch. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    Hi Team

    I have not been posting here this week a whole lot, but i did workout and i did monitor my cals. Even if i don't report here all the time - i'm logging everything in..

    This week is TOM- symptoms .. so I allreadly feel the " bloat " .. but that is out of my control
    I did workout, this am i did the biggest looser cardio warm up, 2, 3, and cool down
    in the am i'm planing to do the sculpt..

    Hey guys! Not having internet at my apartment yet really sucks. You guys will have to try to get me your weights asap on wednesday so I can post them before I leave for the day. I hope we get it hooked up soon...I have finals in 2weeks! :sick:

    Well last night was not a great night. My little one has been sick and her temperature got really high instead of going down after getting Tylenol. When I gave her the Tylenol it was 101.2 and then 2 hours later it was 102.9 so the doctor had us come in and by the time they checked it it was upt to 103.5. They sent us over to the hospital to have some blood work done at the lab and we had to wait around for those results. He said that her white blood cells were elevated so we had to go the ER so they could give her a shot of antibiotic. The dr's office was closed by then. So after the shot we had to wait 20 minutes to make sure she didnt have an allergic reaction to it. We got home around 9 last night and her appt was at 4:30. I have to bring her back in to get rechecked today. They said that she will probably get another shot today. POOR BABY. I hate it when they are sick and to young to tell you whats wrong. We wont know exactly what she has until the blood culture comes back and he said it takes about 48 hours. But her throat was real red. I hope its just viral though. So no gym today either for me. I will try and get in some type of exercise, maybe while she is napping.

    Im so excited I lost what I had gained last week and some extra weight. :bigsmile: I guess being in the hospital is a great diet. Ok maybe not. :laugh: good luck everyone.
