Yeah, if it is infected, you need to get in to see a doctor and get antibiotics. Swollen doesn't necessarily mean an infection, you may have just irritated it. Is it weepy as well as swollen? If so, get to a doc0

While some home remedies may work for some issues. If you don't know exactly what's caused the problem with your eye, you should see a doctor at once. Your vision is much to important to gamble with!0

Treat swelling with Anti-inflammatory (Advil) and Ice.
I'm not a real Doctor, I just play one on MFP.0 -
If the baby shampoo cleanse doesn't work pretty quickly, get professional medical attention. Your eyes are far too important. If you don't have insurance or a regular doctor try one of the Minute Clinics in a chain pharmacy. I had pink eye recently and went to the one in CVS. The most they charge is $59 for the visit and then you pay for whatever prescriptions you need. If it's a generic, they have a lot of them that are only $4.
Unfortunately, here in the US, you can't get an antibiotic over the counter; they have to be obtained with a prescription.0
