Honestly? Marshalls. Almost exclusively. They just have a nice mix of stuff and I dress pretty basic unless I'm dressing up.0

Locallly - TJ Maxx
Online - gearscan.com
Zappos has average prices but a no questions asked return policy that includes free shipping, so if there's a chance I won't like it but can't find it locally, Zappos is a place I look.0 -

Macy's: always tons of finds and good prices/sales. white house-black market is absolutely the place to go for dresses. Banana Republic and Express, Guess are OK too. Shoes mostly at dsw shoes or even zappos ( like their return policy) Also I go to Sport Chalet a lot for my ski and gym gear. I also love Levis jeans!!
WHen I was a student my fav stores were TJ MAxx and ROss, cute and cheap and wont break fast like Old Navy or Forever XX since mostly brand names. But one need time to look for pieces. Now I am generally don't have that much time devoted to shopping. I am actually only like to shop for food0 -
