Okay just curious... What is something your significant other does that drives you crazy?

Mine-
He feels it necessary to have our bedroom three million degrees, when I sleep best at about 50 degrees. Lol

He wears a NEW pair of socks EVERT DAY, yes this means my socks are pretty new too, since there is NO way I'm buying more, but still!

He also is cheap, always looking for the best deal, which leads to auctions where we buy more crap! Lol

Gotta love him :)

snores. LOUD. and does this weird chomp chomp noise in his sleep too sometimes. Gahhh drives me nuts!

and stares right through me when I'm talking to him. Not listening to a word I say... but I'm pretty sure that's what I signed up for with marriage.

My ex SO would snore loudly and he HAD to have one arm under my pillow, the other arm over/around me and usually there was a leg over me too. I couldn't move cause I'd wake him up and he's move in closer haha

Seriously I would DIE! Thank god mine likes it chilly just like I do! But he does have a few things that drive me nuts.....The worst of which is not being a "planner". He won't plan ANYTHING unless he absolutely has to. Dude I'm all about living in the moment but....I'm a teacher, If you don't plan time with me......It may not happen!

As I think hmm my husband doesn't really snore he kinda snorted. Anyway. I'm with you on this!

Husband JUST bought a king size bed, at an auction lol, and the other night I had like an inch to spare on my "side" so finally I pushed him And told him if we were gonna have a bed this big I was gonna have a little room. "I'm just trying to love you" as he smothers me. Ugh!

Same here! Nothing, ever! Or I'll ask "what r we doing for your dads birthday" he'll tell me buying a card and candy and THEN call and ask why I didn't pick up his birthday present from . . . Wherever! Stick to plans or don't make them, i want to say, but I'd rather have a plan not followed thAn no plan!
  • here's my beefs which have all been addressed to no avail!
    1. Leaves her closet door in the bedroom open every day at least twice.
    2. snores
    3. refuses to make an honest attempt at eating better and hitting her target heart rate....ever! I bet she hasn't been in her cardio zone since she was 15...now 43!
    4. always complains the food I cook is too spicy even if the only seasoning I used was salt....this gives her an excuse to make her own meal of hamburger and canned baked beans! blek!
    5. even though she has achieved maximum density and is morbidly obese to a point it affects her sex drive, moods, health, skin, and fatigue she refuses to do ANYTHING ABOUT IT! she took a walk around the block....2 weeks ago! spends at least 3-5 hours per day in front of the TV but has no time to work out, walk, ride the bike I bought her or P90x, insanity, jumprope or anything! When comfronted she says her hormones are off and needs to go to the Dr. for welbutrin....I say she wouldn't need the drugs if she ate close to right, and got a sweat going 3-4 times a week!

Ok, I am done complaining but I fear I am going to have to carry a corner of her box with her in it soon if she doesn't make a change.

    am I over reacting?

op- sorry for hijacking, you touched a nerve!

Oh gosh, this thread is totally gonna get hijacked by people telling you how stupid it is to complain. They always do that :|

Anyway, the only thing he does that irks me is he licks me -.- like I'm tryna be all cute and kiss him and he sticks his freaking tongue out. That **** is not cute.

I can't stand being touched when I'm trying to sleep, so right smack in the middle of our king sized bed is a body pillow. Keeps him on his side at night. Mostly. Sometimes he'll stick an arm under or over the pillow and put his hand on my back but I can deal with that.

I'd add my own list, but I got lucky with mine. He doesn't bug me much and when he does, I try to think of all the irritating stuff I do that annoys him. I know I have a lot!

I have the same thing going on in my home (minus the closet door). I FEEL your pain. Hubby has a family history of heart disease, but does he even TRY to be healthier. On top of that, he's always working against my efforts to eat healthier too!!!!

    3) Snores so loudly that I can hear him when I'm watching TV in the great room and he's in the bedroom.
    2) I like to rest on weekends he likes to go go go... I swear he should be a woman because he loves to shop
And the big old number 1 is.....

He's always buying things at auctions thinking he will resale them and make big bucks... but the stuff stays in the garage...

Awe. I feel bad because I'm like your husband. My husband will have a great idea and I'll say "in theory that sounds great but in reality. . ." Then I feel a little bad lol

I'm ALL ABOUT saving money, lol BUT when is too much. I have to admit I bought dishes because it was a 36 peice set for 2 bucks. . I have no idea when I'd use it, or how (it was terrible ugly) but I bought it. Now. . He gets GREAT deals at these auctions, but he will also buy a whole box of photos for one. . . well what the heck do i do with the rest? lol

As for those who have zero complaints, "i got the good one" ... I agree. I love my husband and if I I have to complain about is he saves money, cuddles too much, and likes to bed warm and cozy in bed. . I think I did pretty good!

When a new game comes out (I.E Skyrim for all you Elder Scrolls fans out there) he talks about it non-stop the MONTHS before it comes out, then the week of (last week) he made it a point to tell me that although he had a four day weekend for veterans day he was going to ignore me and our son for the game. Then he plays it hardcore for like a week or two then either beats it or done all that he wants to do on it then complains that he doesn't have anything to.

Plus he wants to buy a game to play every paycheck.

the only other thing that drives me nuts is I have to remind him to take the trash out, or he will just try to play tetris with the trash to fit as much as he can lol.

My hubby gave his *%&$# friend 20 grand, and told me about it this morning after the fact, he is so sweet and trusting.
I hate how sweet and trusting he is!

    WINNER!!!
