Personally I like to log, but I only really look at my weekly average for calories because its impossible to eat that much more on teh same day you work out.

I don't log them but I also don't use MFP's recommendations for intake. My intake calories are closely monitored (by me) and it already accounts for exercise.

I use a calculator from another site to determine my calorie goals for my fitness goals. As long as I eat what I'm supposed to I don't log the workouts; I don't eat calories back either, so what's the point? I'm sure not gaining any weight, so I wouldn't worry about it. You sound active. Although, you might want to consider calculating your caloric needs if you're worried about not eating enough or too little.

Not sure why folks wouldn't log in their exercise. I always do just so that everything is accurate. The only exercise I do not log is the love making. LOL

Some days I log, some days I do not. If I've had a light workout, some days I just won't log it because I want that extra calorie deficit.

However, if I was working out as much as you - YES, I would definitely log that. Your body needs more calories.

Maybe set yourself at maintenance since you are so close to your goal and dont' bother logging exercise. Let the workouts burn off the calories.

i dont log it because MFPs values seem way off and MFP makes it difficult to keep a detailed log. i log my exercise in a small binder i take to the gym with me.

Be careful with this, I have been working out consistantly for 2 to 2.5 hours a day for 6 sometimes 7 days a week for about a year and a half and I have been noticing that I am getting burnt out. I used to look forward to workouts and really loved it, now I am at the point where I have to force myself to workout. If i could do it over again I would have just done about 90 minutes a day of working out so that I wouldnt get to this point

Year and a half is a long time... I'm not planning to keep that schedule for long though. Insanity is only 60 days, and I'm planning to be at my goal weight by then, so I wont be doing as much. Maybe take a break for awile, and then start again? :flowerforyou:
