I work 5am to 330 pm and have trouble finding healthy foods I can take with me to eat throughout the day including breakfast and lunch...any suggestions?

I am finding cereal I like (Kashi Go Lean) in mini boxes that you can add milk to. Also, fruit, protein bars, hummus and veggie sticks. I snack a lot during the day because of work. My very favorites are fruit & cheese sticks. I take containers of fruit in it's own juice that I find in the grocery store. Also look for oatmeal in a cup that you just add hot water to it. Health food stores might offer more options. Salads are a standby also. I pack a lot of stuff up on weekends in to go containers and then just grab containers out of the fridge. I also take yogurt most days. I love the Veggie Straws I find at Sams Club. I pre-count and package servings in ziplock bags to make them easier to grab. Hope some of this helps.0

Nuts make a great snack...the healthy kind, of course.
Do you cook the night before? I like to make more for dinner so that I can bring the leftovers to work the next day for lunch.
Oatmeal is a great breakfast...All you need is a cup, spoon, and hot water. Someone even suggested throwing in some peanutbutter or bananas into the oatmeal for a hearty breakfast.
I'm trying to stay away from the Lean Cuisines, etc (any processed frozen foods), which, being a working mom w/ 2 kids isn't easy. Tuna makes a great lunch (prepare it the night before in a small tupperware container) too!
I'm full of fun ideas, but don't want to lose you with my rattling.
