Okay, I don't think I am actually going to die.
I just ate 1/2 of pita, and upon looking at the second 1/2, discovered it is moldy.
I searched online a little, but just wondering what (if any) gastrointestinal side effects I may be seeing and for how long.
Most of all, yuck.
It's all good.0 -
It was nice knowing you!
^^^ this.
I think people should have a will filled out ahead of time in case of sudden deathicide.0 -
your not going to die but i definetly see a severe case of erectile dysfunction in your future...0

Well , if you had Syphilis before, you probably don't now, but that might be it. :laugh:0

Only if it had fructose syrup on it. That stuff is poison. I know because i saw it on the internet.0

did you pick the mold off the second half of your pita so that you could finish it?0
-
I did that last week... with a piece of garlic naan. I'm still here.
Garlic mold does NOT taste good, btw. Save yourself that experience.0 -
Yes you will die...but not from that.0

Moldy bread is the beginning of the zombie apocalypse... it all starts with YOU!!0

You should be dead by now.0

Was it rye? You could be in for an interesting afternoon xD
This. If you see witches just relax, they're probably not going to hurt you.0 -
No but how could you not tell?! Mouldy bread tastes like the mud pies I used to eat when I was like 3!!! Like soil! I ate some by accident (mess sandwiches-shocking huh!?) last week and wasn't even ill. Stomach acid and bacteria in gut will help sort it. x0

But I made garlic toast out of moldy bread and dipped it in spaghetti sauce, and it was apparently pretty tasty, since I didn't notice until I reached for the second piece.0 -
The mold that grows on bread is used to make penicillin. You didn't even eat the moldy part. You should be fine. Just wondering though... didn't it taste a little funny?
It was dry, but I slathered it with yogurt sauce, so I missed most the bread taste. I get what you are saying. Its totally just a psychological thing. I kind of wanted to see how people would react to my dramatic title, some of the responses have me laughing out loud.0 -
Bwahahahahaha!!! I love my friends......0
