    If I won a 5k race or won an award related to my fitness success, I think my fellow MFP friends would be disappointed if I didn't post my success. I am genuinely proud of my friend who followed her dream and found success. To me, THAT is an excellent source of motivation. This person I think you are referring to is awesome and should be rightfully proud of what she accomplished! Continue to kick *kitten*, Bry!

    I find it funny when the kid hits the ball into his dad's crotch. That's so funny. Because the kid is so little and the dad is just there playing baseball with his kid.

    I also find it funny when people wipe out while water-skiing.

    I find the videos of the people walking into the closed sliding glass door hilarious myself.

    wait, so mfp only allows you to have 18 profile pics and I have all of mine filled with me (except like two LOL's from when I think the boards are being dumb and make me want to stick pencils in my eyes) so I must think I'm a celebrity too . . . *kitten* gotta go find my big glasses and floppy hat.

    To me, the people who reached their goals ARE celebrities! I've got a bunch on my friend's list and they're the best motivators.

    For real though, I think her point was misconstrued a bit. She didn't mean it offensively, just stated how she interpreted some people's actions on here. People just have different ways of showing their success. :)

    To be serious it may not actually be a person acting like a celebrity as opposed to other users treating them like one because they admire their accomplishments. That says as much about the person worshipping as it does the worshipped. Some people find it very uncomfortable being the centre of attention and don't actively seek it out yet get it anyway.

    Personally, if I ever find myself in the position where I begin admiring anyone on here I will check myself into rehab...
