i know this is just repeating what others have said, but i want to see people who have reached their goals and can tell me about how they did it. that motivates me when i'm struggling.
i haven't come across anyone attention grabbing yet. but if i did i'd probably congratulate them on achieving their goal and move on. then ignore any posts if they're gloating or attention whoring.

What exactly is the point of this thread? I'm not one to throw the "J word" around on here, but sounds like someone is jealous...

So 10 lbs from now I expect you people to bow down!
  • Sorry I'm better than the world and they can only stare up in awe from the bottom of my golden pedestal. It really is hard to be this amazing though, so I wish everyone would feel sorry for me instead.

Since when is it a bad thing to be "prideful"?

Only when someone becomes jealous of someone's acheivements. :)

There is a difference between reaching your goal and being proud of your accomplishments and being a total AW. There are even some AWs who are not near their goal. They are everywhere!!

Hmmph, I fail to see the reasoning for the lashing out. Since when is sharing a story of triumph after a long hard struggle in the same category as 'bragging'. Climbing and clawing your way towards a goal is not the same as clambering onto a pedestal.

This +1000. If you've come within punching distance of your goal, you're a celebrity in my book and welcome to pop corks, throw up signs, and do cartwheels on my FL.
