When men don't hold the door for women....
I've gotten roasted for holding the door for a lady at a store, because of the whole independence thing... there were 10 other doors she could have gone through if she wanted to open the door herself. As it wasn't done to offend, I don't care if the person 5 steps behind me is young, old, ancient, a young mom with a stroller, an older person with their walker, someone with their hands full, they are that close behind me I'm holding the door it's just polite.

The headlight thing is a BIG nuisance here, there are tons of folks who turn on the parking lights rather than have the headlights run (daytime running) but don't seem to realize that they have no tail-lights when they do that. It's very obvious the difference in visibility when you can see the car behind them (twice the distance) who does have their lights on...
  • Couples that sit on the same side of a booth.

My drive thru order being wrong.

When a guy uses the urinal right next to mine and there are others available.

People that swear around my kids.

    Noone vs. No one

People that take up 2 parking spaces because their car is just too cool.

When I can't find the remote.

Paying to take luggage on a plane.

People that refer to things as "gay".

At work: People that prolong meetings or office training by asking 1000 questions.

People that want to show me something on my computer, use their fingers to point to the screen and leave fingerprints.

Wow! I agree on everything except for the urinal part, well, because I don't use urinals!

    THIS ^^
  • Not being able to correct some of the atrocious grammar/spelling I see on here.

And on the flipside, when people make fun of simple typos others make. I can spell, but sometimes my brain works faster than my fingers.
  • I hate when I try to vent to people about how I'm feeling and they totally disregard everything I have said and get pissy with me for complaining. For real. I'll listen to anyone about anything, I would like the same respect.

Totally understand and feel the same way!

If you're good enough friends to vent to each other aren't you good enough friends to disagree without "feeling" offended?
I so agree with Mike on this!

And to add another to my list, the fact that when I try to quote someone on here, it doesn't say who I quoted.

I HATE it when I hold the door for someone and they don't say "thank you". I always say "you're welcome" anyway just to spite them.

This is my BIGGEST one too! I say the same thing to them!!! My other one is when people just hang up on the phone without saying bye!!!! Forgot a big one...when i go to get coffee at the drive thru, now i'm asking them to do LESS work, and they INSIST on giving me sugar in my coffee :( Ruins my morning!!!

The thing that probably irritates me the most is when I miss a call and then immediately try to call the # back and they don't answer...what did you do? Throw your phone and run?!?!

I cannot stand the toilet seat being left up...it's just downright rude.

When others can't handle the fact that your opinion may differ from their's. It can range from favorite place to eat to religion to everything between. It's okay to be different!!

Don't knock it till you try it!

I haven't ever done it, but if my 2 year old was any more antsy I would certainly consider it if we needed to walk in a crowded place (like a fair or amusement park) or busy sidewalks. You can sideeye all you want, his safety is my number one priority.

People (especially women on cell phones-get frickin' hands free and start paying attention) who tailgate you as if by doing so will make you go faster/ram the car in front of you.

Yeah, this is for the stupid woman on her cell phone tailing me the whole way down 45 then 53 in her damn minivan. ARGH!!!!!

People who think their opinions are the only one's that matter/ everyone else is wrong/ if you don't agree something is wrong with you, etc.

People who don't care who they offend when they share their opinion, ok you have your own opinion, but you don't have to be an
    *kitten* about it.

ex. I met a girl at a workout class, she worked for a gormet coffee place and proceeded to say how tim hortons coffee was awful, how can anyone like that s**t, OMG, etc. Um, I happen to like their coffee, did you have to insult everyone who has a different opinion?

There's a difference between being overly sensitive and someone being a jerk.

Eh, I don't look down on anyone that does it, but I wouldn't do it and find it strange, but thats just my opinion.

I've never had to use one on my kids.. but I know others who have. Not because they are lazy and not paying attention. Kids can bolt quickly and there is nothing worse then seeing your kid bolt and not being able to squeeze through small spaces to get to them right away.

Ya, I don't think they are lazy parents or anything, I just don't care for the approach that's all.

Voicemails whose sole message is, "Hey, it's me. Call me back." Yes, I know it's you. And I know I need to call you back. I don't need a voicemail to this effect.

Speaking of "sole"... Found a group whose "soul purpose" is to bla bla bla... I cringed.

The girl in the office next to me who wears stripper heels to work everyday, doesn't know how to walk in them, and stomps up and down the un-carpeted hall in our small, paper-thin-walls office 4,928 times a day.

    Comma splices.

    Sexism.

Lack of punctuation in text messages.

People who complain about having a door opened for them. And those that don't appreciate the courtesy of an open door. And those that don't hold the door for the person behind them.

Mothers-in-law were mentioned earlier. YES! Mine is a selfish nutcase with bad hair.

When people pull out in front of me when there aren't any cars behind me, and then go 10mph and turn on the very next street.
