I would LOVE to fit into 4's. I'm in some 6's now, mostly 8's. (US) BUT a girl can dream. I'll get there. I'm not going down that easily!

(You're talking to someone who once wore 22's, so an 8 is still fabulous!) :o)

Currently a Canadian 8, looking to drop to a 6. Here's hoping it actually happens! I'm pretty big-boned. But my starting size was a 13!!

  • I would love to get back to my steady size 10 (UK). I am currently trying to run as far away as I can from a size 14.

If you add up all the respondant's dress sizes, that's about the size I'm aiming for.

Being six feet tall, I'm shooting for a US 14. I'm a 20 now, and even a 22 in some shirts.

US size 8. I just want to get out of double-digits! I started at a size 18, now a size 14 (12, if I'm lucky). For some reason, clothes fit on me funny and I'm always a bigger size than I look. So an 8 would be amazing!!

I hear you! I'd be very happy with a comfortable UK 14 (US 12), if it's possible - I'm not quite so tall, but have a very big frame - my shoulders give many of my male friends a run for their money!

I don't remember the last time I was in single digits, so I want to shoot for a size 8 for now. I can't remember what my body looks like at that size, so once I get there, I'll re-evaluate!

I wouldn't mind an 8 (US), but as long as I feel great in what I where at any size, I'll be happy. I'm currently a 12/14 and was a 22W :)

I think I'm waiting for my brain to catch up to my new size. I'm about a 4 now...and still see the same lumps, bumps and dimples that I noticed at 8/10...and NO I don't have an ED...probably just very slight body dysmorphia.

    I'm 5'10ish and weigh 145-147.

    No dress for me!
Ugh, uncomfortable, look silly on me. Shorts and a t-shirt for me. I avoid any situation that might require wearing a dress. I have never in my 62 years worn a dress that looked good, including 3 ugly wedding gowns.....

    US size 6, but won't mind 4 either :-)
  • I would like to be a US size 0. Right now I can squeeze into a 4, so I'm hoping it isn't too far of a stretch. Honestly though, I would be happy with a 2.

I would be happy at a 10 but an 8 would be wonderful! Im only 4-5 sizes away! I have already gone down 6 sizes, so whats another 4 or 5!

I'm heading for a comfortable Aussie size 10 (US 6). I'm currently a 12 (ish) though I have one pair of pants and dress that are size 10. They are a little bit tight right now, so when I can fit into them without feeing squeezed around the middle, I'll be done!

You know, I can't believe I just wrote that. For almost all of my adult life I would have been very happy to be a 14 (US 10) and although I might have dreamt of fitting into a 12, I would never have even fantasised about a size 10 (6).
    Hooray for MFP!!
