When people at work offer me some donuts or other "treats" with high calories and I respond no thanks, watching my weight, I often get,"why are you on a diet?" Just because someone else is heavier than me, does not mean I don't have concerns with how I look.
I am 6'2" and weigh 174 lbs, so I am not overweight, but still trying to mold my body to where I want it. Wide shoulders, flat stomach and abs that show. Lifting weights and watching what I eat. It doesn't mean I think they are fat, just that I am working on a goal.
I do see through all of the other posters here how my response might hurt others feelings. I should probably stop giving a reason and just say no thanks. That way I won't offend someone (even though that is not my intent, if they perceive it that way, then to them, I did offend)0
