I am going to have a tempting week & need a personal challenger. If you are in need of someone to check in with you and make sure you are surviving and not giving in to stress eating, doing exercise & keeping it under/at calorie goal then we are a perfect match! Let's check in to this post today as often as you want. I am on California time so our schedule may differ. PS: this should last all week!
Me: breakfast done & will head for a dogwalk before 8am.

Breakfast done; have a meeting at work so will really be fighting the stress eating. Though all have in my drawer are craisins, so I suppose I can't do too much damage. Gym tonight!

Good morning!
Dogwalk done, drinking water, will attack my house next. Maybe a protein shake.0 -
Yay walking! I'm at 50 oz of water so far today. I plan on hitting the gym tonight around 7ish and should be doing a lot of walking this afternoon.
Good luck on the house!0 -
gonna stop and have some lunch, but I have been working on my house for 3 hours! (unlogged-hopeful it shows anyway) Hope your afternoon is going well & the meeting too!
maybe take a break & hit the grocery store after-0 -
Well I think I made it! I ate about 200 more calories but I also burned 1000 calories! I wish for the same strength tomorrow!0
-
Awesome! I didn't do much for exercise, but I'm right at my 1200 for the day, so yay! Tomorrow will be just as good, if not better!!0
-
Happy Tuesday-must keep the momentum going!!
Last night went to *kitten* as usual. I think I need to keep posting on here, rat myself out and then call it a night. If I nibble at night, I don't have to log it or tell anyone at all....but I also don't lose. Or just go to sleep with that "What the hell did I just do"? Feeling!!
Today is a new day. I am starting off with oatmeal loaded with chia & flax!! I WILL go for an 8am walk again and maybe even continue to walk at a mall. I won't log that as I hope once again to use it as cushion.
Here's wishing you a splendid & strong Tuesday Gwynnehamer!!0 -
And here's wishing you an awesome Tuesday filled with tonnes of willpower!
I had oatmeal this morning too, quite nummy. I have lunch planned out and will also be taking a walk. That takes me through to 4.30 or so... So long as I don't blow it on dinner I think I'll be in good shape. *crosses fingers*0 -
Walk done. Feeling pretty good.
Did you make it out for yours?0 -
Did I!! I walked 3 miles this morning, then 3 hours shopping at the mall, then almost 2 miles more tonight with my dog! I ate McDonalds at the mall and then found out we are going to celebrate with a steak dinner tonight. Do you think all taht walking added up to 900 calories burned? I am counting on it. Either that or I just write today off as a genuine celebration for my son. (He won an award)
Here's to tomorrow!0 -
You probably burned quite a bit- good job! And congrats to your son! Sounds like it was a well earned celebration,0

For whatever reason I woke up@ 3:30am and just now snuck about an hour nap. Rough start as I am feeling that huge dinner weighin me down. I had some water so far but I will need coffee & a plan for the day.
Wishing you better luck with your day!0 -
Smoothie down complete with chia & flax, hoping to last until lunch and eat light then. Guess I will have to go for the 1000 calorie burn today. Although it is rough not continuing the "I'm already doing bad, I should just continue" attitude. The real purpose of the post. Now let's do this.0
-
The actions of the last week, or the last day, or the last hour, do not need to have an impact on what we choose to do next. Dust yourself off and keep kickin'! That's what I'm shooting for today.
(As well as a 1000 calorie burn. I did it yesterday, I can do it today!)
RAWR!0 -
oh I love your attitude!!
I have walked my 3 miles with my dog and now I am off to go run an errand. I will work towards my 2nd half of my workout when I get back. As well as figure out a light lunch. Keep up the good work!!0 -
And you! We can do this.
My spaghetti squash with marinara was delicious for lunch. So far I'm staying on track for calories, so long as I avoid temptation when I get home from work I should be in the clear.0 -
So hungry, but going to wait for supper. Gah! Why are there so many delicious things in the kitchen??0
-
Okay Dokey, I just got home from the one errand and total mall shopping! I don't know if I mentioned it but I am leaving to Mexico on Friday and I had to find something fabulous to wear.
2 days in a row at a mall so instead of having McDs again I opted for the less calorie but "just as much sodium" Subway. Honestly dispise Subway!!
Now I am eating my delicious spaghett, salad & garlic bread. I will have only 1 serving and then I need to sort my thoughts in my head.
My do I wish I could eat spaghetti squash! I just can't get past the texture of any squash but I can eat raw zucchini.
I hope the rest of your day went well and you resisted the delightful things in the kitchen.0 -
Happy Thursday! I have had my fiber one cereal, and now my lunch of homemade ham & turkey!! 1/2 gallon of water down the hatch and I am still going strong!
Incase I forget to thank you I need to now. I needed help, called out and you answered!! This is the most wonderful website ever. You didn't charge me, you were honest and I soaked it all up. I could only wish everyone could reach out and get this kind of help. You are awesome!
So here we go, only half the day done but I am still on a roll as far as getting everything together for my trip. Hope your afternoon is going well!!0 -
This has really helped me too, so thanks back at you!
I'm having my spaghetti squash... again. They have cake in the breakroom, so I'm treating myself to a Diet Coke so I don't feel deprived. So far it seems to be working.
And I did make my 1000 calorie burn yesterday! I think I may go easier today, but not sure. I'll see how I'm feeling when I get to the gym.
And since we're doing a water count... I'm at 125ozs so far. Still thirsty. It's so dry at work. :S0 -
hey! you are doing awesome! I love the fact that you got your 1000 calorie burn yesterday!! Great work, once again thank you for helping me, I succeeded in not stress eating!!
I will be leaving in the morning so this will be my last post until maybe next Thursday when I continue to whine about how much food & booze I had in Mexico. I strongly encourage you to answer this post on your own, I was prepared to do it if you stopped responding!! And keep up your good work, I am so proud of all that you accomplished so far!!
Have a great week!0 -
I hope that you enjoy your time in Mexico!
I'll keep posting here... Why not? There's a potluck at work today and I'm going to have a bit of everything, but I'm also going to keep the amounts small. I was down a pound this morning (only 2 pounds away from my mini-goal) and that's a heck of a motivation!0 -
Potluck could have been better. I caved to my spinach dip, but only had one small slice of pumpkin pie. Skipped the cheesecake and cookies completely. I think I overestimated the calories, but whatevs. Hitting the gym tonight after the Toys for Tots benefit. I'll have a small supper beforehand to balance everything out.0
-
Was away from the computer for most of the weekend, so no posting. Have a bad migraine that wants to become a very bad migraine- Keeping it in check with caffeine and advil. Not giving in to the desire to comfort eat! NOTNOTNOT. So there.
Dinner will be lasagne, but I've saved enough calories for that to be a non-issue. Also, very cold here. Envious that you're in Mexico.0 -
Migraine almost over, so long as I'm careful. Sadly, vicodin and the gym don't play well together, so no working out yesterday. Back to it today, though!0
-
Really not hungry today, and really not happy about this evil water weight. Curse you migraine! CURSE YOU!!0
-
Oh no! I am so sorry you don't feel well! Just take the day off wihout guilt, I see you have been doing your best and if your body/head needs a break then give in. I still think you are amazing with that 84 pound loss!
now then, I have had my fiber cereal & coffee so next is my dogwalk. After yesterday's 12 your marathon of laundry I am taking today back-it is all about ME.0 -
back from my AM dogwalk (yes, I plan on a later one too), did a 4 mile run/walk, came home & made a smoothie w/chia seeds so I can go all day like an Axtec Warrior!! In otherwords, time to fold some stinkin laundry. Hope you are doing better!0
-
Awesome! Welcome back! :flowerforyou:
I'm doing much better. Made it to the gym last night and will be going for a walk during lunch. The biggest problem I'm going to have today is eating- I'm just not hungry. Rather trivial, though.
I'm thinking of taking my moochie to the gym with me tonight since the Manbeast is going out. I could get two solid hours in, which sounds very appealing, and the Moochie would get to have playtime with friends. Hmm.0 -
2 hours at the gym sounds ideal!
Okay, I just had lunch out and I think I could have done a lot worse. Now to stay focused on cooking dinner, I bought the most beautiful ingredients for a spectacular salad so I will enjoy that w/a simple chicken breast, after dinner dogwalk & gym if I'm lucky. I WILL NOTgo over on calories today. Speaking of which, do you personally eat back your calories? I understand everyone is different & sometimes I dip into them.0
