I try to overestimate my food and underestimate my workouts, so I tend to not eat them back. If I do, it's only maybe 100 or 200 calories of them. I've noticed that for me, eating them back stalls my loss. I think it's because I used to have an ED and I screwed up my metabolism something fierce. Or perhaps my body is just weird.
I am thinking the gym, 100%. Still up in the air about supper- I'm thinking either salmon or something less healthy.0 -
well I ate as light as I wanted for dinner, went for another walk but never made it to the gym. Instead I took my 12 year old (who is going on 17) bra & panties shopping. You talk about stress! I walked into my house and took a handful of this and that before all was said and done. I can do really good until night time.0

So I am taking a break from logging, just letting the hormones take over so I don't go totally nuts. Too much to juggle right now and hormones win. II hope you are well and that you are surviving any madness that may come your way!!0

Todays the day. I have my fiber cereal eaten & 2 cups of coffee down. Next up is a dogwalk from 7:45 to 8:45am. Going to take it step by step today. I will be like a bulldozer after dinner and crush any boo hoo tendancies away. I am strong, I deserve to look & feel my best this Christmas. I can miss those I love that are w/me in spirit but I will not waste days being sad.0

Done with walk, my dogs happy! Yogurt w/chia eaten & 32oz of water down. Going to take my college son & friends to a public market w/international food so I dont think I will log. I will come home & pick up where I left off.0

this is awesome they way you have supported each other, sounds like you are both doing great. Keep up the good work. Having someone to check in with certainly does make a difference0

So the outing with my son went well, I dropped them off and then went to Starbucks for a panini! I didn't get much done after that, no 2nd dogwalk either but I did stop at a decent amount of calories and drank my entire gallon of water. Baby steps.0

Wow, if only I stopped at 8pm. Everything went to hell after that. I will get a grip on something soon, until then I will keep walking & trying to eat right.0

I wasn't at the computer over the weekend, and yesterday I took off to spend at the Spa... Oh, I'm feeling very good and relaxed. I hadn't realised how stressed I was. I'm working on stopping the evening binges too, it's my big stalling point. I may start posting here every time I get tempted in the evening, maybe that will keep me in check?
It looks like you're doing well, keep up the good work!0 -
Yay! Yesterday didn't completely suck! I'm back up to 184, bit the bullet and updated my counter. I can get it back down, I know I can!! I went bra shopping and found I've lost two cup sizes. I'm not sure what makes me happier- only being a D or finally having bras that fit after... many months of looking way too droopy. I know a lot of people just deal with the too big clothes, but I don't think that I can, and trying to just makes me feel worse about myself. How odd is that? Anyway, no breakfast for me yet, just not hungry. Maybe after I have my coffee...0

Hello there! I love that I havent scared you off!
Well Im in a bit of a funk. Im giving in, letting Aunt Flo show up w/out a fight & eating way too much. But, oddly enough Im faithfully walking my dog daily, sometimes twice a day. Right now I will fantasize about a giant slice of chocolate cake w/zero calories because its not in my house.0 -
It has been really hard to stick with my exercise this week, with the kids being home. I did make it to the gym last night and got a good workout in. I have so much to do within the next few days to get ready for christmas. Glad to see you ladies are sticking with it. We can do this0
-
Oh, I don't scare easy. :flowerforyou:
I think it's been hard for everyone. Tonight my husband's work is having its Christmas party... at a BBQ place. That's going to be really difficult for me, but I can't let the Manbeast down by bailing. So, fingers crossed that I don't way overdo it! In either case, though, there will be gymage tonight. Because there has to be.
Lost a little, hoping that I can lose this five pounds for the LAST time and move on to a new five pounds. *sigh*
We can do this! We are multitasking fitness BEASTS! Rawr!0 -
Well we are going to make it ladies! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Today I took my dog out for a hike & walked a total of 5 miles and then hit the gym tonight! Im not logging my foods but I have been logging exercise. Total spit personality!0

Ah, it's nice having access to a computer again! Updating a forum post from an iPhone is a horrible, evil nightmare. This morning I got up at 4 (!) did a workout, got a bunch of stuff done, and now am at work and ready to kill the next nine hours until I go get to go home to my family. It looks like it will be nice out, so I may take a walk on lunch as well.0
-
Walk accomplished. A little sleepy, but lunch should take care of that.0
-
Up at 4, but only managed some light cardio. Very sore, which makes me happy.0
-
Walkies today on lunch. Hit the 170s this morning! Apparently only capable of writing in fragments. Will be a good day.0

Didn't update over the weekend as I don't like updating from my phone and was unwilling to open my laptop. Something about working all week on a computer kills my desire to play on one outside of work hours. You seem to have gone away, which makes me a little sad. But no matter. I'll keep writing here and hopefully people won't be too annoyed when it pops up in the recent topics.
So far the new year has gone well! In the high 170s, so no complaints. Had a bridesmaid dress fitting, and it looks okay. Not nearly as tight as it was, though I was annoyed when the bride suggested spanx. I don't need those stupid, bloodflow constricting pieces of... ahem. The wedding isn't until April. A week before my birthday. I'm thinking I might be able to be in the 150s by then. That would be 20 pounds. Closer to 30 if I aim for 150 exact. Three months and change. Totally doable, yes?0
