I'm sure this has been discussed many times, but after my seemingly anti pop punk admission, it got me interested.

Nirvana <-- my all time ever. It was the summer before senior year when bleach came out and i loved every single note kurt cobain played. I spent the next decade being as grunge as I could.

    This is a bit difficult for me to narrow down considering I have nearly 15,000 songs on my iPod and the music genres run from Classical Music all the way through to extremely aggressive Metal.

    In no particular order or genre:-
    - Johnny Cash

    - The Beatles
    - Giuseppe Verdi (yes, I know that he's a composer and not a musician but I'm trying to spread the love across all the genres of music I listen to) :tongue:

    Here's my problem. About 50% of the bands that other people have mentioned in this thread are bands that I listen to. Asking me to pick just 5 bands is unfair. :sad:
