I play poker at bars and this is what I have learned. My GF started playing who is hot and bar hops. She plays only to meet men. Men spot her a mile away. She can't keep a man and they just use her for sex.
As for me. I may not be hot but, give me 3 conversations at the most with a men and he will most of the time take to me. I stay relaxed and I love to laugh. They see a person that likes to have fun and is not someone who is looking for something. I'm not shy and I listen to what they are saying and not saying. Asking questions that are deeper than average.
Guys just want a girl who puts them at ease and isn't all work.0 -

My bar hopping days were for 1)Dancing, 2)Socializing, 3)Drinking (in that order), The drinking plays no to very little part in it anymore. But the the 1st 2 are still important to me (even though my visits are much fewer these days) :drinker:0

You don't have to drive to "bar hop".
Approx every month our group of friends goes on a bar trek - a pre-planned venue of several bar stops including a stop for
dinner. In the city - I take public trans or a cab, never drive after drinking. We are all responsible adults. It's fun to catch up and have a few drinks, laugh and get silly, not drink ourselves into a stupor. If it's somewhere outside the city - like a football game - we have a designated driver.
I like a few drinks, not every day, and I'm glad my husband accompanies me to all the events I enjoy and is willing to split a bottle of wine with me or make some cocktails at home or go out for a few drinks with me to chat or watch a game. It's one of the things we have in common and enjoy. If he NEVER drank that would honestly bother me and vice versa - we've discussed
But that's us. Find people you have things in common with.0 -

Anything that asks "what men like about women" or vice-versa... :grumble:0

No I...I'm nearly completely disinterested in women who drink more than twice a week.
I'm attracted to those who lead an equally active and healthy lifestyle...not the immature, hapless, party type.0 -
I can't speak for all men but I like people who like to let their hair down and have a good time. Regardless of if this involves alchohol or not. But usually, non drinkers tend to judge drinkers as its not their 'thing'. So its wise to just stay out of the bars if you dont like that kind of socialising. I'd say its pretty obvious that if a man drinks he wouldnt mind a woman drinking, and vice versa? It's called compatibility?
You should try hanging out in places that you approve of, where you will be more likely to meet like minded people? A guy that drinks too much isnt going to be your ideal partner is he? So the question is more about what YOU are looking for rather than if 'men enjoy women' who drink!!
Just a suggestion. Life isnt as geralised as you're intimating. We all like different things and such is life's rich tapestry. Live and let live :flowerforyou:0
