    I always give them enough to have a drink on me. Tipping is not so common here though.

    I haven't tipped for all of mine...i walked in and said i have a thousand bucks, do what you want, and he turned it into the entire left side of my back...he got to do free hand, what he wanted, how he wanted it. Turned out to be a $2500 tattoo, but I still only paid a grand. he can take his tip out of that...and he still does all my tattoos. I think he enjoyed the freedom instead of doing another lame tattoo

    I do! It's just like anything else in the service industry... if you like it, tip! :)
    Also, if I ever had to go back to him, he'd probably be more motivated to do a good job. :) Just sayin'
