Alternative: Zero Income Taxes & Zero Sales Taxes

    What it would mean:

When the fire department shows up, you have to sign a payment contract before they get started (and the "put out fire" fee is around $20,000 - can you write that check?)
When you drop your kids off at school each day you have to stop at the office and pay the daily education fees
When a car accident happens, no police or ambulances show up - a few passersby put the injured in their car and take them to the hospital - maybe a few guys push the wreckage off the road
Every block you pay a toll to continue to the next block
Planes are always smashing into each other in mid-air
There is always someone waiting to take your job for lower pay - which means you will make less and over time the amount you make will continue to drop - your country becomes a third world country
Gas prices are 5x what they are today even without any added taxes
Your children's PJ's are highly flammable
Your food has god-knows-what in it (chemicals, feces, mold)

I'm happy to pay my taxes.

Council Tax - abt 10% of income
    VAT - 20%
    National Insurance 12%
    Income Tax - 20%

Don't mind paying it though because we get great healthcare, social services (support workers for me), subsidised education and so on
